The Rodgers chat had me thinking about those two seasons. How we managed to bottle it like that twice I will never know. Still a basket case of a club when things were going well.

I feel like I could do 10 episodes on the Brendan years and still not scratch the surface. It is so compelling, and utterly baffling.

Brendan is the most complicated character ever in football I think. I mean, his work could be debated by academics…… from his absolutely hideous transfers at Liverpool, to his bizarre Turkish makeover to his bottle job FC tenure. 
 

He’s proper Jekyll and Hyde…. I wouldn’t be surprised if he mutated into some strange creature after sundown, and scurry around neighbourhoods fouling on people’s lawns. He’s an utterly bizarre character……

I must admit to not listening for a while. Anything LCFC related just gets me down these days, but perhaps I need to hear some epic moaning to get my mojo back. And I bet there’s still a lot of that 🤣 in fact there’s been some of the best moaning the history of moaning on this pod. That’s my radox…

Sad to see Steve Potter has left BSLB but have to say I really enjoyed his first contribution towards the blue tinted glasses youtube. Some brilliant insights.

He's not left anyone mate! He does stuff for lots of different channels, we're buzzing to have him do stuff with us too! He's a great guy!

Thats brilliant, always thought he could have been a more regular feature on the BSLB too so maybe there's a chance of that.

Yeah he is great! We have lots of different voices on our channel... even Graham Brock! Would hate to become an echo chamber! (I am top, rudkin, board out etc) but important to also hear what others have to say on the matter.

 

Steve brings lots of level headed, intelligent discussion and insight to every channel he takes part in :)

Personally I always enjoyed the service stations segway with Michael Regan. Can that be revisited but A roads only. None of this Welcome Break motorway bollocks. Sweaty Scotch Eggs only
