It’s a regretful yes from me.

If not, a change of the guard with Rudkin and Brendan and his useless coaching staff to work on an identity (eerily, like Puel was doing)

Get Puel back!

You can be financially tight, you make errors but ultimately when you own a football club, communication is key.

Wheeling the manager out weekly isn’t going to help.

What would you like them to say exactly?

You people are f****** insane. Less than what, 18 months ago our owners were lauded as pretty much the best in the league by all and sundry, including the fans. They've shown themselves capable, patient, understanding and not reckless.

But people want to chuck that in the bin at the first sign of trouble, when turning around issues at football clubs can take a long time to rectify. It's fine to worry and to criticise, to question inaction and decisions, but to yearn for someone else who is frankly most likely to just buy is with debt, load it onto the club, use us to pay it off and flog us on for a profit, is insane.

These states wanting to chuck money about are few and far between, so are owners that don't turn out to be total willy pullers, or worse crooks. Look about the leagues for gods sake.

Absolutely baffling.

Finally someone talking some sense

I think where vichai wanted to take the club and where top wants to take the club are very different! I literally think top is completely out his depth and is putting his trust in the board of dinosaurs that all need clearing out think we need investment and someone that has a interest in running the club because top clearly doesn’t want too

I would be happy with a total reset and be fodder for a couple of seasons while we build again. At the very least we need players who can do the basics.

We look so devoid of an identity anymore it's unreal

An acceptance that performances are not good enough. That errors have been made. Of course you can’t divulge financial information and you have to be careful about what you let go.

There’s a lot of football owners who do a reasonable job in circumstances they’re in but when the fans feel like they are being taken for a ride, then it builds to toxicity

Spot on

It’s clear that the dreadful helicopter crash kind of wrecked the club. Top ain’t his dad.

He should either do something, or sell

Not many people were calling for their heads until recently, but the amount of time they've allowed this to continue and the apparent massive decline in our behind the scenes activity is inevitably going to cause people to wonder what the **** they are playing at

How do you even go about selling a football club? Instruct a bank to work on your behalf and just get them to pimp it out to their investors?

If we want anything other than scraping survival at best for the foreseeable, then investment has to be made. Whether that’s from Top or a new owner is immaterial, it has to happen if we want to compete at the very least.

Otherwise, enjoy a decline back to the championship, because if it doesn’t happen this season then it very easily could do next without serious spending.

Well, yeah we were utter shit for great stretches.

I think that everyone recognises this. It’s about being reactive to those changes. When things are bad, you expect your owner to change things. What changes have been implemented in the past 18 months?

From my perspective, the challenge that the supporters have is that Top has been too passive and let us regress.

Not the first sign of trouble is it though? Evident decline on all levels commercially, on the pitch and off the pitch for quite a while. The buck must stop.

To change things, 1st they have to sack Rodgers, 2nd they have to invest mass amounts into the playing squad.

If they won’t do both, it’s time to sell up because u can’t run a football club the way they have for the last 12months.

it’s negligence and mismanagement.

But he did let things carry on, he was basically willing to watch us get relegated to back Pearson, barring a miracle we would have been.

We have had a amazing journey, people just seem to think its going to be all plan sailing and no bumps in the road.

Unbelievable that people are call for their heads.

Care to explain this in further detail? If you're talking about signings and scouting for one, we made a change. It takes time to see how that works out.

What does that mean? We. bought a load of crap after we won the league, with Vichai still here don't forget. Our MO under Vichai was running a high wage bill and selling a player to fund purchases etc. It's a scenario we've continued to follow. Devastating injuries alone and players running down contracts (something they don't control) can screw you up quick sharp when doing that.

Of course mistakes have been made, but also circumstance has played a big part, the above, Covid etc. Making changes and seeing if they work is like steering an oil tanker, slow going.

You don’t need it explaining. It’s happening right in front of us.
