Thought he was fantastic tonight and kept it being 5 or 6.

In his defence he probably wasn't expecting someone to have the ball on the edge of our box when his defender was on the ball under 0 pressure 3 seconds before

yeah he needs to start on the bench , that’s if he can position himself properly on the bench

lets be right, some of the saves he did tonight Ward wouldnt have saved them,
i fully accept hes partly at fault for their first too

hes better than Ward anyway

Remember when we had a top quality keeper at the club. I miss those days.

Loads of people gave him abuse ans said we should be starting Ward.

How can you look at that performance and say with such outlandish confidence he needs to start lol

Made so many great saves and only one notable mistakes

Schmeichel saves that shot with his eyes closed. Maybe if Iversen had been given a run of games, he would too but unfortunately Rodgers clearly rates Ward the better of the two.

Not convinced.

Question remains how did we get into this position selling a top class keeper and didn't replace him?

First goal was pretty central when it hits the net, his positioning was awful. Second goal he dives out the way. First half he passes the ball straight to their attacker. At 1-0 in the second half he plays a braindead pass to Soumare when he's clearly got a player right on his back and leaves him nowhere to go. Ward does just one of those in a game he's getting pelters. Neither keepers is great, but unfortunately we're probably playing the better of the two right now.

Not having he’s anywhere near good enough to be a Premiership number 1

The club must recruit a clear first choice keeper in the summer if we stay up
