Favourite non-pizza take out?

Recommended Posts

In order of preference :

Thai

Turkish

Grilled chicken (nandos style)

'other fast food' (like burgers, fried chicken etc)

Chippy

Chinese

Doner kebab

I do like Mexican food but yet to find a good take out place that doesn't get all soggy by the time it gets here (i.e taco bell)

As a take away?

I mean I've had one before but doesn't come close to eating on a restaurant.

Same here. Part of the experience is starting with poppadoms and the chutneys. The Naans or Parathas always seem better in a decent restaurant than at home.

Las Vegas Fish Bar

Will never forget your man in Las Vegas telling me to GET YOUR FOOD AND GET OUT after I said I missed Jimmy in TJ's down the road. Went back months later (by which time he'd clearly forgotten) and shook his hand over the counter like a man. Was like when the leaders of North and South Korea shook hands in the Demilitarised Zone, one for the ages.

No one in this country does proper Mexican food. TexMex is vile.

A decent bit of fish or a traditional British Tikka Jal Frezi wins the day.

I’d forgotten about sushi because nowhere here does sushi - but the correct answer is sushi.
