It is the motto for the City of Leicester, translates to 'always the same'.

 

The flyers left on every seat in the kop where worded like this -

 

Welcome back to Filbert way…

Last season was clearly incredibly disappointing to say the least, but instead of dwelling on what could (and should) have been, we are looking ahead to a fresh start under Enzo.
Union FS ran a summer tournament in aid of LOROS Hospice Care, and a fundraiser to help fund our tifo efforts this season. We are pleased to say that both were incredibly successful.


Today’s display on the Kop borrows from our City’s motto, no matter the division, our support and passion for the club stays the same. Semper Eadem.

As always, we encourage absolutely everyone to get behind the lads for 90 minutes. As we enter our 10th anniversary season, UFS is, as it always has been, open to everyone who wishes to support the club actively.
Sing up today and let’s start the season with a derby day victory!

It’s from Cornelius Nepos, documenting the travels and trials of Hannibal. 

 

Literal translation of the Latin:

Semper - to be of twattishness

Eadem - to the Raj


So, in modern English, this would be read as ‘Raj is a twat’. Quite an obscure piece of text with no obvious reference to Carthage. Sorry I can’t offer more insight, hope that helps. :)

You just can’t get it here at all.

There are three European suppliers really. Based in Poland, Italy and Germany.

 

Post Brexit the fees on import are grim with getting the gear in.

A good few years back a friend of the group sorted us a prep space in a warehouse near Meridian. 
Recently Glenfield Electrical have kindly let us use their transport on foodbank collection days.

 

The silk scarves we push you'd hope you could find a supplier in Leicester with its industry but we are yet too.

Rest of the clothing like t.shirts we try and make it work locally.

Have you tried 'Arena Scarves', a Syston-based company which makes scarves etc. for various clubs and sports?

It’s always special to look back at the Sunderland Tifo video, one of my personal favourites. It was so apt for the 15/16 season.
