"Man looks after dog"

What an absolute rotter! There's many things to chastise the bloke for, this is not one of them lol

Don't worry lurch, I'll look after your dog for you

To be fair, it’s what it stands for. He was given one off permission and just carried on doing it. The dog part could be substituted for various other actions, it’s the principle of doing what they want and the lack of any discipline.

The article doesn't say that.

The decision to renew his contract for more than 12 months is one of the stupidest decisions in a looong line of stupid decisions at this club.

I cannot stomach watching him (or Faes) again next season, yet by the end of this one we won't even be able to give him away due to the wild disconnect between his ability and his wages.

Enzo requested it and the club were desperate to keep Enzo, so they agreed. Then Enzo buggered off.

Fittingly laughable for us, but I doubt one of the conditions was a bumper 3 year deal.

You have to laugh at this stage.

I’m far from a Jannik fan but find it interesting that news about “him leaving training pronto to travel” would have been the same last year yet never brought up.

All ironic really, I find this squad extremely unlikeable and it appears that they feel similar about each other, if players from the “leadership” group have had to be told about their time spent at Seagrave.

To be fair though, training with his dog is ideal preparation for playing with Faes...

I suppose if it's poodle with deranged lunging syndrome. . . . .

We should just pay this **** and any other ***** off the remaining contracts, take whatever deductions and embargo’s the we’ll throw at us. Start again with someone young and ambitious.

He even took his dog on the Christmas party

That’s how they should dress up for the rest of the season. At least we’d enjoy the games these clowns play!

Yea, I was thinking a developmentally challenged golden retriever...

Minus the retrieving... unless it's out the back of the net.

2 more years of this useless lump, unless there's another club stupid enough to by him. Which there won't be

I could throw up at the thought of that.

If it was up to me we'd just pay off the contracts of anyone we can't get another club to take on a free transfer and take whatever financial penalties are thrown at us.

How can a player that you can't give away be good enough for the EPL anyway? We somehow have a squad over half full of them...

Eurgh!

And people get offended that fans are pissed off with Rudkin. That 3 year extension will go down in history as Classic Rudkin.

Nah leave him to rot. Either way we have to pay him but if we cancel his contract he can get his money from us and then join another club. If we keep him but don't register him in the squad, he can't play and will just waste the last 2 years of his career. I'm sure he won't be arsed but it's better than him stealing even more money by joining another club.

I agree, but there are a couple of them, like Vestergard, who I think should just be kept away from the club completely, not allowed to train with first team or development team. The attitude and culture they bring is toxic and risks poisoning the next group that come through.

I’d say this for Ward as well but hopefully he’s out the door this summer (though until he is gone I won’t be comfortable).

Faes as well but hopefully he’s sellable.

Maybe Coady also.
