Really can't work it out. Why would you want to deter your own supporters who don't have a season ticket and can only go to a few matches per season?

Because they're idiots. Simple as.

To push memberships. Ironically it just leads to many relying on getting them from others on here, and then the club feeling the need to employ away stewards at their expense.

It's absolutely bonkers. Lazy bustards just can't be arsed to deal with it can they. So backwards.

I reckon we've sold just under 2800 for his so far ... a really good turnout (bearing in mind Sunday 12.00 KO and on Sky).

Blocks S01 and S02 sold out and approx 450-500 left in S03.

If we managed to shift the remainder and open up the last lower tier block (S04), that would look awesome on the TV.

Again, it just screams open it up to general sale doesn’t it 🤷‍♂️

For a supposedly big club we should be selling a weekend away game out whether its on Sky or not

Big clubs don't necessarily equate to rich fans. It's a brilliant effort for this game so far.

I doubt match going Leicester fans are any richer/poorer then the majority of  fanbases in England. We must have 35k season ticket/members that are eligible to buy away tickets so 4k shouldnt be a problem for a weekend away game imo

We’re not a massively supported club though are we?? We never have been, yea we would sell out of 95% of away games last season in the prem but this is expected, we are never gonna sell out your Blackburns away on a Sunday morning in the championship or your Southampton away on a Friday night, tbf the only club in the championship can do that is Leeds, but on the subject 3k away at Blackburn at Midday on a Sunday on sky is a fantastic effort for our level

We arent massively supported like a top 6 club but we still have a very decent Premier league sized fanbase that is more then capable of taking 4k to Blackburn on a weekend. If we can do it in the Prem but not the Championship then just shows how many fair weather fans we have. Plymouth took 3k to Preston at the weekend who are a significantly smaller club then us

Plymouth Preston was Saturday 3pm though, we're playing Blackburn at midday on Sunday, with no trains getting you there in time for KO.

When we get decent KO times and we're not on tv, tickets go quickly.

You're not comparing like with like here.

For starters it was 2737 away fans not 3000.  ok, pedantic, skip that point.

As stated above, it was a Saturday 3pm which is totally different to a crappy Sunday lunchtime ko.

And Plymouth have spent the last 13 seasons in the 3rd and 4th divisions.   They are on a high, and absolutely buzzing for every match at the moment.   They'd probably have good support away to Carlisle for a friendly at the moment!

yes.   Yet again.

Middlesbrough had their away allocation increased to 4,000 at the weekend against Blackburn, sold over 2,500 initially and then put tickets on general sale. They ended up selling slightly over 3,500 (according to the club's website). So given the KO time for this one, our increased allocation of 3,269 is a decent effort but again surely open it up to general sale or similar.

They should put 30% on general sale regardless of the allocation or club.

No they should go down the priority. However once thats done for games where there is tickets left, then they should open it up to the general sale bracket.

The priority system is awful.

Ipswich playing away to Southampton on a far worse night than us with regards to work & they have further to travel, but have sold out.

They only sold 2700.

And it is a 6 hour journey one way for them on their tractors.
