It's weird how perceptions can be different.

Had friends in the away end who said they made a lot of noise and that the home fans were really quiet (quieter than Ashton Gate which really says something!).

Had City fans I know at the ground who said the opposite as in this thread.

To be honest there's **** all noise at most games these days from home or away fans.

It's the acoustics of these modern bowl grounds, very rarely travels from one end to the other

This just goes back to the ground acoustics and where you sit because I’m in L1(which was terrible) and you really can’t hear our singing section whilst the away fans sounded ok. Yet everyone on here who I guess were at the other end of the ground saying they couldn’t hear the away fans and that our fans were good.

Preston are bringing over 2000 here for a midweek game

Must be one of their biggest mid week turnouts outside the north west in ages

I know 10+ Preston fans that live in Leicester who are buzzing for it.

My father-in-law (PNE fan) reckons they're bugging Leicester for more tickets.

I wouldn’t have thought there’s even 10 in the county in total

I remember Danny Murphy on TALKSPORT scoffing at the idea that we are everyone's big game but we absolutely are.

He said it was Leeds. Maybe 18 years ago when they'd recently been in Europe but it's us now. We are MASSIVE

Basically every non LCFC fan I know my age (25) puts us in that tier with Villa, West Ham, Newcastle as the non big 6 big clubs.

Genuinely think sometimes neutrals see us as a bigger club than our own fanbase

Plus most of these championship teams haven’t had the chance to visit our ground in almost 10 years.

Think that's a fair assessment.

In my life time were the six most successful club in England.

It's quite comfortable as well. We have grown as a club. Club size isn't set in stone.

There's a self depreciation from some of our fans that I don't see with other clubs. Maybe it's the older fans who were used to us being a nearly club at the heights of our success pre Martin O'Neill. When we lose there is a 'told you so it's only Leicester' attitude.

Thankfully I think this generation see us as better and bigger than teams who bang on about what cups they won in 1980.

We ain’t really in a position to criticise away fans when we are horrendous ourselves

Not in terms of numbers I would just add, but vocally yep not good enough really.

I see Preston got the extra allocation. Why do we keep giving clubs tickets we don’t need to and should want to sell ourselves? Club is mad

Maybe (hopefully) there's a reciprocal allocation agreement for when we go up there?
