Roll up! Roll up Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall!

Hi Foxes fans,

 

Though I don't support Leicester and I'm not even from England, I've discovered Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall as a true gem in Football Manager 2023. So as soon as I managed to bring him to my AJ Auxerre (sic!), I couldn't help singing his name to myself in the manner of The Beatles' "Magical Mystery Tour".

 

I checked how he's playing in real life and it looks like he deserves his name to be chanted like that. I've googled "Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall" and ""Magical Mystery Tour" together, and much to my surprise, I haven't found anything. Why? It's so obvious to do!

Hi there :welcome: and bonsoir 

 

 

The way we pronounce Kiernan Dewsbury Hall kind of swallows the "u" in "Dewsbury", so the full name has 5 syllables.

 

As such, the name really doesn't scan, poetically, into the song you suggested.

 

But most of all, KDH already has a song associated with him, to the tune of Oasis "Wonderwall".

 

Even if it it is a bit of a dirge. :ph34r:

We’re not allowed to sing Beatles songs as Liverpool would get all upset and complain to the authorities and have us fined. Nice idea though.

Hi Vacamion, thanks for clarification, now it looks like he needs a real-life transfer to France (actually anywhere abroad) to make it work. Not sure you'd like it though... Alright then ;)

BTW regarding that Wonderwall thing, what is the rhyme? "And after all, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall"?

Im 20,000 klms away, but i think ive heard it as... after all..."youre my Dewsbury Hall".
(as he is a local lad)

I like the Magic Mystery Tour idea. The Wonderwall one is a bit of a dirge. 

 

My girlfriend said watching the game yesterday he looks like a minor player in the wars of the roses.

I wish I;d thought of that!  Magcal Mystery Tour is much better!

 

You say you're not a Leicester fan, but I say you're not a fan yet.  This is your first step on that journey to becoming a fully paid up  bona fide fox.  The die is cast.  There's nothing you can do about it :scarf:

Do I get it right that you haven't sung this yet?? Meanwhile the guy has amazing 5 goals and 6 assists in 14 games this season. Roll up!

Sorry, don't want to be intrusive, and I understand you're not happy about the result against Leeds (me too already), I just like the player and the team already. Hope you keep him until you promote and even after.
