Panic, sign players we have to give large wages/fees to, just to get them in the door

Go down, have eye watering wages in the Championship, beak FUPSR, get deductions, bans, made to do the walk of shame.

Our cycle of stupidity doomed to repeat itself.

Just get some prospects, loans, bit of Hlozek type deals and just take the pill of relegation and build from there.

 

Please do not sign large fees or wages out of desperation.

If Cooper is only going to use Ndidi as an attacking midfielder our sole priority should be Mandela Keita or someone similar. Our midfield is by far the worst part of this team.

Granted I've had zero interest in the pre season friendly disaster, but we seem to be shipping goals too easily. The defence worries me. Nicking the odd 1-0 sh*thouse could be the difference since we don't look full of goals.

Agree with this, Ndidi is such a weak link and baffles why we gave him a new contract. Need someone next to Winks who can actually trap a football

I don’t think Cooper would use Ricardo as the right centre back of the back 3 or in a 2 with Winks so unfortunately I expect he would be on the bench

 

Personally I don’t think I would start Buonanotte ahead of any of those other forwards

This would be naughty. I haven’t even seen anyone linked with Doughty, so not sure what fee they would want for him.

Because currently we need Thomas and Ward as back ups.
 

Thomas is the only back up option to VK and Ward is currently back up to Mads with Storlarczyk being injured.

This might be a bit fvcking greedy, but one of Alfie Doughty, Archie Brown or Nicola Zalewski, along with another DM to add to Hlozek, Ioannidis and Zaha would turn this transfer window from being 1/10 to a 10/10.

Yup in my opinion ndidi, booby, hamz aren't prem standard 6's I'd love these to be brought in to make me more comfortable with the base of us:
