Fake news.

Chuck Norris beat Death in several one-on-ones.

Chuck Norris is immortal.

Chuck Norris simply faked his demise and lives as a monk from hereon.

Chuck Noriss doesn't fear Death, Death fears Chuck Norris.

Nicholas Brendon. Just reached the final series of my frequent Buffy rewatch.

Just 54. The Buffy alumni lost Michelle Trachtenberg at 39 about a year ago too.

I heard the news and was going to post it, but wasn't sure if there were any fans of the show here.

Sad to see how his life went after Buffy and obviously for him to pass away at just 54.

Watched "The Zeppo" last night, which is one of my favourtie Buffy episodes and of course the most Xander one of all.

RIP Nick

I always found him breaking off the wedding genuinely painful to watch. Was always desperate for it to work out for the character.

He was better early on at being the goofy sap, but yeah they made him hard to like as the series went on.

Mary Rand. First British woman to win Olympic Gold Medal in Track and Field. Won long jump at 1964 games. Died age 86

Remember it well

Mary Rand, the first British woman to win an Olympic gold medal in athletics, has died at the age of 86.

Rand secured the long jump title at the Tokyo Games in 1964, also winning silver in the inaugural women's pentathlon and bronze in the 4x100m relay.

That meant she also became the first British woman to win gold, silver and bronze at a single Olympic Games.

Talking of those dubbed golden girls I'm often reminded of the wonderful but tragic Lillian Board who I'm sure you will also remember. On a happier note recall the joy of Ann Packer winning gold in Tokyo in 64 and Lynn Davies winning the men's long jump

It's amazing and sad how someone whilst so extremely fit can die of cancer.

Remember this man who was part of a fantastic Bulgaria side at the '94 World Cup.

Longest-serving president of the Bulgarian football federation, as well.

Borislav Mihaylov has passed away at age 63, after suffering a stroke.

Perukata, 'the wig'. Terrible president of a corrupt football association, but still, RIP.
