Expensive, lengthy contracts awarded to overpaid players = inability to move on deadwood has lead to a terrible squad.

In turn that hindered our ability to sack Rodgers, who dragged us to the championship.

Completely ballsed up FFP meaning an incoming points deduction.

Gambling company as sponsor this year and let’s not even talk about the previous sponsor, no lessons learnt.

Poor managerial selections.

Poor recruitment.

Anti-supporter treatment of fans leading to a hefty divide between the fans and club/players.

Whelan would have played her part in every single one of these issues, there’s no defending her.

Right so all football decisions then? lol

The fact she's no longer here and 10 seconds later the shoddy crypto scam is back on the front of the shirts tells you everything you need to know about her and King Power's integrity.

Well not necessarily. Top level Recruitment, finances, wage structure and strategy…could all be seen basic functionalities of a CEO regardless of football/industry. I’d expect her to have a firm grip on all of those which she clearly didn’t!

OK what about last years sponsor which she again would’ve been involved in? An offshore bullshit gambling business.

Magnificent creatures.

Myself and Tony have been seen in the same room however and I doubt he's still alive tbh.

Are the club allowed to sell you one with monga on the back with skankybet.com branding?

*No idea why I'm asking as they can get fvcked if I'm giving them any more money than my st fee this year. Even smuggled a beer in today out of spite

Hyperbole.

And another example of fans excusing the continued poor running of this club.

Find  examples of any Premier League club sponsored by a gambling company that has the levels of transparency you have just described in your own words as "nobody knows 100% about them" and that has had to pull out of the UK market under threat of removal of their license

Sorry I probably haven’t made myself clear.  I don’t mean other clubs have similar dodgy shirt sponsors although some are a bit questionable . I’m saying plenty of clubs in the league do a lot more questionable things way worse than a shirt sponsor . Chelsea selling its women’s team as an example that we know off  there’s plenty we don’t .

Why do they bother spending millions on sponsorship then you turnip?

You think companies advertise just because they like seeing their name on a shirt? Of course they don't.

It’s about brand recognition rather than direct sales in this case, how many  Chelsea fans decided to change their Ford focus to Yokohama tyres because they were on the Chelsea shirt? How many United fans have gotten themselves a snapdragon cpu. It helps them in more of a b2b sense as opposed to direct to consumer when it comes to shirt sponsorships.

Genuinely hilarious how rattled people are over a shirt sponsor

You've obviously never been close to someone who's life's been destroyed by gambling.

That really is not hilarious.

Sad really anyone can even look at this the way you are.

And I'm not talking about the gambler. But the child who never had nothing including food that my mum would feed because his dad gambled every penny and more that he earned.

Please don’t do the whole virtue signal stuff with me. I never said anything about addiction and don’t want to derail the thread with my opinions on that. I merely pointed to the idea people being rattled by this is over the top.

considering before BC game we were taking sponsorship money from parimatch and I don’t think I’d ever seen a thread like this about how we shouldn’t take there money because they’re blood money gamblers

which leads me to the conclusion, that nobody really cares about this (not including Ric flair in that) and it’s just because the club is in a complete mess and people want to get on their soap box about anything we do now and if you are that rattled about a shirt sponsor it probably is time to touch grass.

I personally don't give a fvck but have seen first hand the pain it causes people.

So I don't mock those that have a problem with it. Unlike yourself that seems to think it's funny. Maybe best to just not comment in the first place and judging people you know nothing about by your standards.

Ok, we should accept being linked to gambling company that at best has been proven to not met consumer needs in a industry where not meeting industry standards can cause people serious mental health issues, serious financial issues, or death. And it worst has links to money laundering and potentially organised crime, because Chelsea seem to have got getting around FFP down to a fine art?

Not really comparable situations are they. Like I say, it’s hyperbole, or you don’t seem to appreciate exactly how shady bc games are.

Every advert was a gambling company or king power.

I could take a gambling company, I think we are somewhat being naive to discount gambling companies completely until something is done about their ability to advertise in parliament as that is where the issue needs solving.

This gambling company however…..
