Umbro's UK sublicence being taken over by Castore doesn't fill me with confidence (effectively it seems like they'll be Castore's second tier brand in the future, meaning not very commercially lucrative deals?), but they have been doing some great kits lately

What other brands would be appealing choices, New Balance maybe? Their kits for Porto and Lille this season are decent looking but they had some shockers with Liverpool

Soccer.03 have started to sell reps of the 15/16 shirt. What makes this different over DHGate is that the Chinese versions have been shipping with a white collar for the last few years, but these have the correct gold collar. Not bad for £15 for anybody that didn’t get one first time around or if the original is knackered. I’ve put an order in so will report when it arrives.

Really does… Worth so much now on the second hand market. I’d love some decent replicas of the maroon FA Cup kit too - I never got that one and regret it.

If sponsors had more appealing logos they might get more sales.  I don't know which logo was the most popular?    It would be interesting to see the stats on which logo generated the most purchases. How long did you keep wearing the one you liked most ?

Apologies if this is repeating any previous posts, but is this our last year with Adidas? 
 

I’ve always been an adidas guy, but if not then I’d love us to go for Hummel. They’ve done a great job with Cov and Sunderland this year. Interesting kits, good prematch and training wear available and all for a more reasonable price.

What's the material like with Hummel kits? They can make really nice looking stuff but I've read that some have complained of the shirts feeling cheap and nasty

Took delivery of one today. :thumbup:

 

Decent for just shy of £30 (incl. delivery) and chuffed about not having to worry about a shit sponsor peeling off in the wash.

Gary Aspden has just posted on instagram that Aberdeen, Leeds & Forest are getting a range of club branded Adidas SPZL gear. Meanwhile we have the new tie dye winter range inspired by something or other from Thailand to look forward to baby!

About time we got something decent with Adidas to be honest, we've been more successful in the last 10 years than any of them.

They always get the KP sponsor wrong on the 15/16 kit too, that's the newer style logo, the original one, the font was much thinner

Ordered black away one from dh gate for my boy and although it said it’s on its way 16th September it ain’t arrived yet.. :unsure: might order from where I ordered his home one from.. bql sports 

 

just went on there and they have the third strip now..

Thing is with these price, wea don’t make much profit, we likely only get the fee from adidas 

 

So when the contract is up, use Fox Leisure or another pseudo brand, that “sponsors” the club for an amount similar to an adidas or puma would pay, then make the shirts ourselves for the pennies it costs, and retain the profit. Get @Ashley to design them.

I could be wrong here but it looks like anyone who's had the colab and trefoil logo with Adidas recently are getting trainers as part of the SPZL F.C. 

 

Aberdeen and Forest so far. 

 

Assume Leeds will be next.
