There is also the possibility that it's not so much he 'doesnt want to come here' but that he 'has an agent that recognises if we believe he doesn't want to come here, we might offer him more money' this would also be supported by the fact that the reports early on were that he did want to come here. Nothing ruins bargaining power like actually being up for it

If he genuinely doesn’t want to be here, he won’t be. From reading various articles, it actually sounds like he has a preference to stay in Italy which is fair enough but isn’t actually against coming here. We should absolutely welcome him with open arms if we get it done.

Can people not take comments like “player would prefer Roma” to be a case of him clearly not wanting to come here. If established clubs come in for players then it’s likely they will have preferences, we all have preferences, but it doesn’t mean if they don’t get it, then they will just toss it off and not bother. 
 

Money talks, and at the end of the day we can probably offer better wages than Roma, given the current state of Italian football.

No one knows what the player wants it’s all conjecture on the parts of some in the press. Some should stop taking at face value everything your read without any real evidence.

Really are some sensitive souls in our fanbase. Find me one player in the world who isnt a Leicester fan who would choose Leicester over Roma in our current standing. Have not got a scooby doo

From what I've seen in the last couple of seasons, di marzio is not that credible on transfer, he  was wrong more times than i can count.

I personally I think this will be Percy helping the club out making it crystal clear we did what we could but just player didn’t want it. Plenty of twists and turns in this one. He won’t end up here.
