Sly Posted 21 July 2024 Posted 21 July 2024 https://gianlucadimarzio.com/it/arthur-como-juventus-calciomercato-serie-a-news Arthur Melo is an idea from Como. The newly promoted club in Serie A is carrying out a big market and has targeted the Brazilian midfielder, who returned to Juventus after the loan to Fiorentina last season. Como did a poll for midfielder Arthur. The Brazilian is not part of Juventus' plans and has not been called up for the tour in Germany. The operation, however, is not easy. Given the high salary of the former Barcelona, Como could only proceed if Juventus contributed. The 1996 class is also followed abroad and especially appeals to Everton and Leicester City. Mattia De Sciglio was also not summoned by Thiago Motta. He also works on the foreign track. The former Milan is linked to Juventus with a contract until June 30, 2025.
Tielemans63 Posted 21 July 2024 Posted 21 July 2024 Is this the guy who was absolute muck on loan at Liverpool? 3

Popular Post foxfanazer Posted 21 July 2024 Popular Post Posted 21 July 2024 Melo.....is it me you're looking for? No actually 5
FoxinNotts Posted 21 July 2024 Posted 21 July 2024 I mean he looks pretty average tbh, and his Liverpool loan was a weird time for sure, but could he come and share the Winks role?
enmac Posted 21 July 2024 Posted 21 July 2024 Played 22 games for Brazil. Would he be the first Brazilian international to play for us?

Langston Posted 22 July 2024 Posted 22 July 2024 Remember Horncastle on a pod saying he was decent for Fiorentina last year by all accounts but Italiano has seemingly been the only bloke to ever get a tune out of him. Would rather avoid tbh!

FoxinNotts Posted 22 July 2024 Posted 22 July 2024 We need more back up for Winks. The only similar player is Braybrooke, and he is completely unproven, and imo will need more time before he is thrown into the Premier League deep end. He looks/looked really promising. History shows Winks will get injured. Someone like Melo would be an ideal sub for him, especially if we could get him on a season loan

FoxinNotts Posted 22 July 2024 Posted 22 July 2024 Just now, dooflip said: We may well be signing him as a regular starter. My point is that, as a football club, we don’t tell the player, that he’ll be ‘back up’, just get them through the door and, what will be, will be. Of course most players want to go where they are going to get the most game time
Sly Posted 23 July 2024 Author Posted 23 July 2024 No player gets guarantees of first team football when they sign. They need to earn it. Every player knows that with each new coach, comes a new opportunity. Vestergaard is testament to this. 1
