American broadcasters have been rightfully mocked for how they show the medal table......now feeling its not the worst idea lol

Aussies having a brilliant games, I assume what seems like endless swimming medals is the main reason?

 

Looks like we're going to have our worst games for 20 years.

Not checked the stats but it seems a more competitive Olympics this time around with medals being spread around more than usual. And I think that's made it a better games.

Yeah I agree, most top countries seem to have won less, although we still have a few days left.

figured it wasn’t the vaulting 😄

 

onto the 400m men. Not sure I fancy our fella to get gold as his bend running looks that bit too awkward. Obvs he’s been running 400m for his whole athletic career but I just think at this level you need everything to be in your favour.

Good effort but tied up at the end. 2 nights running our man loses out to US athletes. Bit frustrating but hey ho

Personal bests, national records or very quick times just aren't proving to be good enough. Looked an almost perfect run, but not sure about looking at the screen at the finish, felt like he had some extra effort in him for the line.
