The Rest is Politics livestream is rather good, but I know most people may not be Alastair Campbell or Rory Stewart fans.

CNN making these weird exit polls where they don't tell you forecasts etc just stuff like "We asked what was the most important issue for you in this election? 34% said democracy and 31% the economy."

Like a shit family fortunes...

I can’t believe people watch them, Campbell should be in jail

US resident here.

Shitting myself over another Trump presidency.

Somebody please tell me something positive about him coming in so I can have something to look forward to.

Unfortunately, I genuinely think he's going to win.

Gotta admit his rambling press meetings are comedy gold. Don't focus on actionable items just listen without actually hearing lol.

And so it begins. He has not learned on3 effing thing has he? Talk about peaceful transition and then start to incite shit already. Absolute knob end.

What does this mean

It means that the bets placed are more on trump than Harris

Within that context (of trump favoured by the bookies),  over the course of the day it’s drifted ever so slightly towards Harris and then back to trump so that we end the day with trump slightly more favoured than Harris compared to how the day started.  if you believe the money then trump is more likely to win.

What happened?

Bit of a squabble between Maitlis and Sean Spicer.

Flicking over just now doesn't seem to have improved.

The Boris Johnson show.

Hope he's kicked off. Pointless waffle once again.

There is no smart money in betting. Doesn't mean anything more than some rich folks have put substancial bets on them.

Bookies odds mean nothing. Don't make me go dig out the Preki thread as evidence.

Democracy only exists as long as the two major partis respect it.

The USA is no longer a democratic country

Isnt Trump hoping to change rules on how many times they can stay in office. Its set at two. Naturally been set that way to avoid dictatorship hence what we see in Russia. Makes you think surprised theres no limit on how many elections a prime minister can stand for. Imagine if this was Thatchers reign would have been a lot shorter.

Bomb threats to polling stations in Georgia in Democrat areas.

Wonder if the phone callers had Russian accents?

Confirmed that they did, yes.

Probably. Although apparently that would require a change to the constitution and would be easily blocked.
