He's an attacking central midfielder. The fact he's moved roles to a deeper position and not done as well doesn't change that. I'd have him here as a creative 8/10 and I think he'd do well.

I don’t think we have the resource to get 4-5 in and I’d be more inclined to get a back up to Ndidi and/or VK.

Very much agree, my only concern would be can he hack the pace of the league in the final third. Players like Soumare and others look so much better in a slower league with the extra second on the ball and I’d fear with the way he plays Adli may be similar
