Bazly Posted 10 November 2024 Posted 10 November 2024 Destined for the bottom 3 by Christmas with Cooper Ball in play. Cannot see Crystal Palace and possible Wolves as well remaining there. 4

I’m going to stick my neck out and say we will be in the bottom 1 just after new year …our fixtures include Chelsea Man City and Brighton at home Liverpool Aston Villa Newcastle and Brentford away … will be lucky to pick up any points from them 2

There's literally nothing more damming for a football club (and worrying) when the fans don't identify well with the team and start to not care. 3

I literally don’t care what the results are at the min that’s what the team under cooper has done to me. It’s sad but I can’t get motivated by what I’m watching and the board are just allowing it. I’d rather we got relagated and he got sacked then stay up with cooper. 1
Tuna Posted 10 November 2024 Posted 10 November 2024 (edited) It's beyond Cooper out now. It's now sort it out Rudkin because until he realizes, nothing happens. Edited 10 November 2024 by Tuna 1
tickler28 Posted 10 November 2024 Posted 10 November 2024 It's a sad sad place to be when fans aren't bothered by results. I'm at the point where if we win it's like (oh good we won) but if we lose I'm like (oh well at least that's a step closer to getting rid of this clown). It's a bit of a win/win situation 4
murphy Posted 10 November 2024 Posted 10 November 2024 (edited) So many people queuing up to say how much they don't care. I think saying 'don't care' is a bad way of explaining it. Obviously we care but what has happened is the club have appointed a manager nobody likes and we have 7 or 8 players none of us are particularly keen on so it stands to reason we are gonna be a bit 'meh' about it.

ozvaldo Posted 10 November 2024 Posted 10 November 2024 We’ll go down under this frog-pleasuring clown. 🤡 We got lucky against Southampton and Bournemouth. He’s miles below the level we need. 1

He shouldn't have been given the job in the first place. Are we ever going to reach a point where enough people start challenging the cult of personality around Top/King Power rather than focusing the anger at the manager and board? There isn't a single aspect of the club working well and that is down to the ownership. We could appoint the second coming of Alex Ferguson, they will still be operating under the same constraints as Cooper. We have extortionate ticket costs, pricing out new fans in a struggling working class city. For most games, you need to buy a membership to even give you the opportunity to buy a single ticket due to their weird resistance to general sale. They charged £25 for a physical season ticket to force people to move to mobile and had to be shamed into donating it to charity instead. The stadium expansion is on hold indefinitely with no updates from the club, it clearly isn't getting built any time soon, if ever. The concourse is full of poor options, overpriced and slow. The club actively resist any attempts to improve the atmosphere. We continue to sign dodgy crypto and forex traders as sponsors. We invited a bus full of influencers to pretend to care about Leicester for a day so Top and Co can show off back home, only for them to go back to supporting Liverpool and United the second they got back to Heathrow. Rodgers was rightfully sacked for 2022/2023 but the people who allowed the embarrassment to happen are still here after the 'review'. We were a team challenging for top 4 reduced to winning legal battles on technicalities due to the poor financial management. Maybe the club will surprise us and pick an exciting replacement when they finally act. More than likely it will be someone just as tactically inept with 'Premier League Experience' like Lampard reading the same script we give every new signing, praising the great and benevolent Khun Top. Nothing will change while King Power continue to reward loyalty more than competence. Should be pinned at the top of the forum. I think people feeling empty about the club will be ultimately feeling it down to this. It's just a massive problem that there is an instinctive reaction to not criticise the owner because of who he is. I was far angrier two seasons ago because it was the first time it had really caught up with us. With this now this is just entirely what I expect from us now. A poor operation at virtually every level. The final roll of the dice for me and having any enthusiasm for Leicester games beyond a social with my mates is a change of ownership. I thought it just needed Rodgers to go. It didn't. I wondered if Maresca's style and being heavy favourites against teams we're substantially better resourced than every game was a part of it. It probably isn't. It will take a genuinely extraordinary manager I think to make me strongly invested again under this ownership, and what sign is there that we're getting it? The Cooper appointment in itself should tell you everything. It's a loveless relationship. His flaws at Forest were often overlooked because he was their Pearson. Their man who restored them to the top flight. What credit like that does he have here? The fact he did that at Forest of all clubs probably works as anti credit in the bank if such a thing exists. I'm not even particularly angry about it anymore. Just empty. I want to actually be capable of getting angry about it again. I don't think that can happen again under this ownership. 5
walkerleeds Posted 11 November 2024 Posted 11 November 2024 Doesn't really matter if we sack him, does it? Rudkin, Whelan etc are all irreplaceable and immune from culpability apparently, so nothing changes long term.

Kitchandro Posted 11 November 2024 Posted 11 November 2024 I just don’t really get what the club expected from this guy. It’s obvious he’s going to be sacked within 2 seasons. Either because we are getting relegated this season or next. We aren’t going to pull clear to mid table under Cooper, he doesn’t have any potential. Surely being one of the relegation favourites it would have been less risky and potentially a higher reward to appoint some young manager with actual ideas, like certain clubs did when they hired relative no marks like De Zerbi, Pochettino and this wonder kid at Brighton.
Daveb5569 Posted 11 November 2024 Posted 11 November 2024 After that display the club need to reimburse the fans shocking no fight feel sorry for the traveling fans yesterday, did the club get Cooper in as he is the man to get us back out of the Championship. One year in the premier lge, extra money and the points detection that was looming. The board knew take a hit this year knowing that we would probably go down 1
