Claudio Fannieri Posted 23 November 2024 Posted 23 November 2024 He is now down to 8/1 and 13/2 with 3 bookies, odds are shortening have a feeling a story will break in tomorrows media that the players don’t buy into his ideas, and by Monday morning he will be odds on and then the by Monday night he will have left.

BEK looks very good at times, Okoli is highly rated in Italy and Skipp is no mug. Imo the three you mentioned are not bad signings, as in they are all decent players and capable of playing at this level, the problem is, they are the wrong players and the wrong positions. With a limited pool of money we brought in players for positions where we are already okay, with some youngsters that can provide cover. Whilst desperately needing a full back or two, and a striker that can take some of the load from Vardy.

It's also clear now how much of an active role in our success Vichai played. He ran the club, he was also always visible, he had real friendships with staff and players, he was clued in to what was going on both on and off the pitch. Top, well, Top is ****ing useless and anybody still in denial about that is deluding themselves. Spot on with the highlighted but does Top have the same power Vichai had in the running of the club or are the decisions made by several people now ?

Odds are completely meaningless with something like this. If 5 people in this thread all went in tomorrow and put a tenner on him to be next manager sacked, he’d immediately become the bookies favourite for the sack. It doesn’t mean it’s going to happen or anyone is well informed. Just the bookies playing with odds to maximise their profits. 1

We were shit, he was shit. Own it. He's knows exactly what he's doing by deliberately trying to make it the talking point. Bet he wasn't complaining when Wilf got away with a yellow when he could easily have a red. Couldn't care less he managed Forest, I absolutely cannot stand the guy. 15

Bob Weasel Fox Posted 23 November 2024 Posted 23 November 2024 Just go Cooper fall on your sword and go
Wymsey Posted 23 November 2024 Posted 23 November 2024 Do the players feel more comfortable in playing away from The King Power?..

To be fair, the refereeing was every bit as bad as Wouts defending. Not saying it would have changed the game, but Madley did get every big decision in the game wrong - including Wilfs yellow. He missed at least 2 really good advantages he could have played and was quick to award free kicks every time their players fell to the floor.
Corky Posted 23 November 2024 Posted 23 November 2024 We are an utterly forgettable team at the moment. If they quietly dropped us out of the division at Christmas no one would notice. Our most significant contribution is a 98th minute winner against the bottom club. Or Vardy rattling the Tottenham players and fans. Truly slim pickings. At least, if we had gone down ten years ago, we had the 5-3 Man United game. 12 games in and we have offered bugger all. Somehow not bad enough to be thumped most weeks but still lose or grab a late goal against ten men. Shit. 4

Bazly Posted 23 November 2024 Posted 23 November 2024 The only thing in Coopers favour is that the squad today is so much poorer then the squad the last got itself relegated due to Bodgers persistence with Ward. This squad will just be relegated without any need to help themselves on the way.

Whilst everyone belittles the squad remember- Hermansen - Danish international Vestergaard - Danish international Kristensen- Danish international Faes - Belgian international Okoli - Italian international Ndidi - Nigerian international Winks & Skipp - seasoned premier league players with a top 6 club Vardy - need we say more Facundo - Argentina international Ricardo & Justin - seasoned premier league players Fatawu pre injury - Ghana international BDR - seasoned premier league player Eduaord - seasoned premier league player Ayew - Ghana international Bilal - Moroccan international Mavididi - more than capable of being a decent premier league player 18 out of 25 of the squad that are internationals without touching on the likes of Coady, Thomas, Ward, Daka etc that have also played international football even if only u21 level. Lets not pretend that Cooper is managing a championship squad, because he isn’t, granted they aren’t going to be top 10 but also they aren’t relegation cannon fodder. Too many are happy to give a sub standard manager a free hit when that is not the case. Winks, Ricardo, Justin and De Cordova Reid are all international players too.

Penalty decisions re: Mavididi was debatable. Even on the match thread there were differing opinions. The offside goal went in our favour. He gave the second pen which was confirmed on VAR. Advantages were annoying but happens, Therefore the only major decision was Soumare not being send off for a reckless challenge. Is that what Cooper wants to talk to the officials about ? He sounds like Wilder last year. He can’t set up his team and then when they get turnover, picks the most ridiculously debatable point and plays the victim. He is dragging the club down 6

Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 23 November 2024 Posted 23 November 2024 (edited) He’s clearly holding us back and tragically predictable and disrespectful to the quality we have. When I saw the team today and the back 4 with JJ and VK I said he should be sacked on the spot. It’s the definition of insanity to keep doing the same thing but expect a different outcome. On the way out I said he’ll try and create a narrative of it all being the referee’s fault. Low and behold… how about you look in the mirror Steve. I hate to say it as well but we are also facilitating his employment. I’ve not heard a single ‘Cooper out’ chant yet, unless I’m mistaken? He needs to go before someone else is sacked as we want to be the first approaching the limited pool of managers who would interested in a job like ours. Edited 23 November 2024 by Wasyls Pec Deck

Ian Nacho Posted 23 November 2024 Posted 23 November 2024 The writing is on the all. Carry on as we are and we'll finish bottom. The bloke is completely out this depth but the club is completely blind to it.
