Can anyone share something on how we can do this? Fan engagement personel or someone? I'm just not convinced the powers that be are truly aware of how we all feel? Doubt foxestalk is indicative of the views of the LCFC supporting public at large.
Wymsey Posted 11 November 2024 Posted 11 November 2024 The most-disliked LCFC manager, already?.. Right at the start from when he got appointed, plenty weren't happy because apparently he didn't have the best of PL records as well as criticising his looks..

No.. not from me, The accolade of most disliked manager in LCFC history will always be for that little 'C yoU Next Tuesday' Rodgers. I truly despise the odious narsasistic dwarf.

I can only really remember our Managers / Coaches from Brian Little onwards. The title for me, will always go to Peter Taylor. I really, really wanted him and us to succeed after we were brilliant to a degree for half a season. He destroyed us though in reality by trying to change that O’Neill team. I think time will look back on Rodgers more fondly than maybe he is viewed on Foxestalk now. Holloway wasn’t really with us long enough for anyone to care. We just had a terrible squad under Bassett. Sousa if he’d been left, could have got really toxic. It just wasn’t working. Levein bored us to sleep. The rest are largely forgotten in the doldrums of time. 1

I personally still blame the players for that, as much as Rodgers. 1

Appreciate there were some positives in terms of recruitment, but he was awful.

I don’t think he made bad decisions that crippled us like you could accusation against a Taylor, or a Rodgers. Puel like Pearson really, laid some solid foundations for what was to come. 1

I don't hate Cooper, I just don't rate him as a manager, and for the good of the club he needs to do one. 7

He also made some good signings, he just was just dull and that's what probably ended it. I never questioned him as much as I did in the disaster Rodgers final months or Cooper. We have had a lot worse. 1
The Horse's Mouth Posted 12 November 2024 Posted 12 November 2024 I hated rodgers towards the end but anyone who doesn’t just look at the fa cup win and give him a slight pass is a bit odd imo, I think a lot of this rhetoric is misdirected on the managers rather than the management of the actual club 3

You may dislike him but to suggest his experience should warrant him a non league manager is daft Back to back play offs isn't a big achievement did he achieve anything whilst getting back to back playoffs? Also scraping promotion through the playoffs whilst spending the most in the league is actually close to being more of a failure that success. The guy is absolute garbage hence why no clubs wanted to touch him with a barge pole. 3 1

You’d have taken that performance rather than the one Dean Smith dished out when we battered 5-3 I think someone above got Puel right. I respect him for the way he handled himself and the club, during the period of time with the accident and Vichai passing. He was as dull as dishwater.

I’d checked out and divorced this club by Smith. I’ve been trying to be one of those cool divorcees who gets along with their ex…but I simply can’t, I think they’re a bunch of cvnt. 4

He’d have bored us to sleep but potentially kept us up given more time I think. Sacking Rodgers without a plan was crazy. The reality is they left it to long …… about 12 months (at least)! I can see them doing the same with Cooper. 1
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 12 November 2024 Posted 12 November 2024 For me I’d go for Moyes as he’s experienced and the most likely to sort out the flimsy defence. Perhaps then ditch him in 2 years for a more progressive manager once he’s steadied the ship, or not. But he’s the one for me.
