I firmly believe they are not better than the team that got dumped out by Roma. They wouldn’t win the UECL

That was when UEL teams could drop down in the UECL, though. We breezed past the teams who'd been in it from the start (Randers, Rennes and PSV) while being utter bobbins in the PL.

It really isn't.

Bottom half is absolutely shit.

We've been utterly pathetic and as usual let multiple other shit teams off the hook

The reality is that the last two trios of promoted teams have been absolutely crap and ill-prepared for the Premier League. In the season before the last two, all three survived. One of which was managed by Steve Cooper.

I keep saying this, but it only takes one bad transfer window, wrong managerial appointment or rotten luck with injuries to drag a team into it. The only teams I'd say are invulnerable from a relegation battle are Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City, Newcastle and Villa. Everyone else, and I mean everyone else, could get sucked into it.

This season has shown that even huge clubs like Spurs and Manchester United are closer to relegation than their fiercest rivals - so pretending that clubs like Fulham, Brighton, Wolves, Brentford, Forest, Palace and Bournemouth are guaranteed a stint for the next decade is madness really.

A promoted team or two comes up that is well-managed, coached, spends wisely and plays to its strengths could easily survive.

Fair enough. I see Chelsea’s second string win most games by multiple goals

Chelsea will win it, but it'll mean little to them as it'll only give them a UEL spot.

Interestingly, if Chelsea win the UECL and finish 7th while Newcastle qualify for either the UEL or UCL, the UECL spot for England goes to the team in 8th.

That would make it tight between Fulham, Brighton and Bournemouth for European football.

what happens if Tottenham win the UEL ? will 5 teams still get into the Champions league from the table ?

I think England would have six teams. Hilariously, if Villa win the UCL but finish sixth and Spurs or Manchester United won the UEL, we'd have seven.

I think people underestimate the impact of losing Enzo and the possibility of a points deduction.

Losing Enzo put us on the back foot.

The points deduction looming would have reduced our ability to attract both managers and players.

Not a chance we sign, Skipp, BCDR and Ayew, Edouard with Enzo at the helm.

think a good number do, i think we'd have struggled either way, but i think we'd have had more about us under Enzo,

and for one he wouldnt have been scared to play Mav and Fatawu in the same starting 11

If you want to go really mad and add to this, Palace winning the FA Cup gives them a place in the UEL and the UEL place for PL finish goes to 7th while the UECL place goes to 8th.

That would mean the following on current places:

UChL (7 places) Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City, Notts Forest and Chelsea (league place) Tottenham (UEL winners) Aston Villa (UCL winners)

UEL (2 places) Newcastle (currently 7th) Crystal Palace (FA Cup winners)

UCoL (1 place) Fulham (currently 8th)

Half the PL qualifies for Europe under these circumstances, and one of Tottenham or Manchester United misses out.

If you combined all the points of the newly promoted sides it'd be 8th in the league. The league has become a predictable bore when the three promoted teams become the three relegated teams for two successive seasons. It's time the top 6 fuked off then Man U could start winning things again.

Enzo’s a fraud mate and is being found out week by week

If the senior players hadn’t of taken over during the run in last season we’d have fvcked promotion up with best squad that the Championship has ever seen.

We’ve been utterly dreadful but I for one was not sorry to see the back of him

Let’s see what happens next season.

if Leeds play their cards right they could do enough to survive which means someone from the established teams that usually hover around the bottom will go down.

Everton, wolves, west ham etc. however they could all improve next season too.

so the 2 scenarious are the 3 teams that come up constraint back down but every other year 1 team will survive and a more established PL team will go down.

I can see Wolves struggling when Cunha and/or Ait Nouri leave.

Fulham and Brentford as well

Yep.

If either lose their manager and replace him badly, you can see them falling off. Perhaps even Brighton.

im not sure on that, most of that team wouldnt survive in the prem, theyd need a massive amount of players to improve it, in all areas

I dunno, theyve not had Cunha in their team the last 4 games and theyve won them all;

if they get recruitment right theyll be fine tbf

Top four: Liverpool, Arsenal, Notts Forest, Manchester City (Champions League).

Fifth: Newcastle (Champions League via European Performance Spot).

Sixth: Brighton (Europa League).

Seventh: Bournemouth (Conference League, as Newcastle’s EFL Cup spot transfers).

Eighth: Chelsea (Europa League, via Conference League win).

Ninth: Aston Villa (Champions League, via Champions League win).

Tenth: Crystal Palace (Europa League, via FA Cup win).

Eleventh: Manchester United or Tottenham (Champions League, via Europa League win).

According to the Oracle that is Grok, it's madness. Insanely unlikely, but possible.
