Been to Goodison many times over the years, absolute dive and had a shite view most times but for some reason I absolutely loved it.

The 3 tier stand opposite the away end was probably my favourite old school stand that I’ve seen.

Sad,  year on year we are losing these classic old stadiums

So as it stands I think

Top 5 : Champions league plus Spurs or Man U.

6th and Palace : Europa league

7th : Conference league

Down to 8th if Chelsea win the CL but aren’t top 5 (7th)

Or if Newcastle come 7th -  probably be made to look but don’t think Forest will catch Newcastle now 4 points behind .

It used to be much more simple !

The same fans who have spent years claiming the European Cup was better when they won it because you had to win the league to be in it are now crying because they’re going to miss out if they finish 7th. They’re genuinely hilarious.

I remember an old Forest supporting mate (lovely bloke until you got him on football) being absolutely gutted when Man United won the UCL in 2008 because it was their third time and 'now they're a bigger club than us.'

😂

They say they don't have no luck,

Like **** right off

Even with all the luck in the world, down to UEFA randomly deciding to make it top five in the one season they happen to be in with a shout of it, they're not qualifying for UCL.

All these GKs have a negative IQ. Their managers forcing them playing from the back are responsible for these farcical errors. GKs errors were also happening in the past (80s and 90s) but right now there's at least a 1000% increase.

Not in their hands.

They could win today and next week against Chelsea and still not qualify.

Newcastle have Arsenal away and Everton at home, so would only need to win one to be impossible to catch. Villa play Manchester United away on the final day and Man City play Bournemouth and Fulham in their final two. Any two of those win any one of their remaining games and Forest don't qualify regardless of their results.

The amount that would have to fall their way now is ludicrous.
