On what planet were absolute clear favourites Leicester with the most expensive squad and biggest wage budget ever seen by the Championship not expected to get promoted first time of asking?

I'd honestly just ignore these kind of posts in the past but you're enabling the clowns running the club with this kind of small time mentality. Little old Leicester never expected to do anything.

That squad never expected to go down has been absolutely decimated. The value of the squad now compared to then is half, if not less. We have had all summer to bring in players to give us hope but all we have had is rejection after rejection and the worst possible pre season.

Get a grip mate seriously.

I have to say I’m genuinely shocked at the incredible negativity on this site about literally everything.

Supporting a football club is up and down. Good times and not so good times.

Look at Man Utd, when did they last come close to winning the premier league - let alone actually winning it. After all those incredible years under Sir Alex.
We’ve just won the Championship and got promoted at the very first attempt, which no one expected.

The only top player we have lost is Dewsbury Hall - which was essential to meet PSR rules.

There is still the best part of 2 weeks to sign new additions (I expect a few on deadline day as this is when you get the best value)

We have one of the best training facilities on the planet.

We have a manager who is very underrated by many on here. Just a few years ago he was being talked about as one of the best in the business, with links to top clubs.

If we do go down, he will be essential to keep as he has proven championship experience.

Our squad is already premier league quality - we never should have been relegated and were way too good for the championship.

Cant wait to come back on here Monday night when we put in a top performance and come away with a point - will the negativity still be here then? Not so sure.

1) well when the club has been a shambles behind the scenes on the playing side, with PSR/FPP; club trying to go beyond its means etc

then the other stuff behind the scenes, £20 for ST cards, 10 quid to watch pre season games, incredibly poor inactions with fans and fan groups, yeah i guess we should be happy

2)ups and downs, of course thats normal

3)Utd are a different kettle of fish, theyve still won stuff, been in the prem etc, still one of the bbuggest clubs in the world

4)well most expected us too, since we had the most expensive squad in championship history, so at least go up

5)well done rudkin on Khd

all the points you make are valid on the surface but look deeper than the surface youll see it isnt all sunshine and rainbows.

and if we get hammered on monday will you be coming back on here saying "oh well we tried our best etc"

you need to remember not 5/6 years ago this club was praised for being one of the best for recruitment etc, a model for championship clubs for when they come up, but look at us now.

while Ill always support my club, the player and the manager, i cant support some of the idiotic decisions the club has done the past 4/5years and the way they treat the fans at present

We shouldn't have even been in the position for this happen in the first place

I think you have some valid points.

I think we need to stumble upon a combination that works, but I feel there is one within the squad that could be effective.

I do however feel that we need someone we are not expecting to 'arrive' if we are going to make a fist of it.

My feeling is, if we can find a way to survive this year, we will have stabilised after the FFP issues which are so badly affecting us at the minute.

For me I feel survival is a big ask, however I think with the a slice of luck we might just do it.

I'd like three points myself if we've put in a top performance.
