Following the Emirates FA Cup 1st Round draw, where Kettering Town will play Northampton Town, we can confirm that the match will be televised live on BBC Two Saturday 2 November kick off at 17:30.”

Giving everyone the chance to drink from midday to 5:30 might not be the smartest move - but I’m not complaining.

Potential £100,000 pot up for grabs now, just to make it interesting.

Feel Wrexham would be on regardless of who they are playing.

Guess the Dons derby has been on too many times to be worth showing again?

I cannot remember if the BBC still did their extra goals in games programme on a Sunday anymore or that stopped?

Kettering have hit the jackpot here, in terms of draw and TV time

Wrexham could play St Trinians School for the Blind and they'd stick it on TV.

They'll beat Man Utd's record soon.

Because it’s an awful game & they have played each other 5 times in the last 2 years.

That hasn't stopped them when PL teams meet up in 3rd or 4th round...

Don't the Wombles still boycott Milton Keynes?

It’s a league 2 fixture between two very uncommercially attractive teams. Can imagine a tv exec getting fired for picking a game like that. Good picks imo

A Liverpool, Man Utd, Man City is a lot more attractive for tv channels regardless who they are playing because of the viewing figures they’ll get.

No. Bottlejobs.

Mad to think when many German fans still refuse to go away to Red Bull Leipzig with whichever club they support.

Completely different mentality isn't it?.  If the german fans were treated like english fans I don't think the attendances would be anywhere near what they currently are in Germany.  But the 50+1 model pretty much stops that happening anyway.

Wrexham on tele again... against Harrogate isnt exactly exciting tele viewing seeing as its an all efl tie. Can imagine a few non league clubs are dissapointed to have been snubbed. Notts County v Alfreton im surprised was overlooked.

Thing as much as I think it’s a silly choice, they ain’t actually on the telly. It’s online only / ITVx and traditionally for the Cup, S4C have rights to show a game with Welsh teams regardless
