Hey everyone, I have a unique link that can get you some really good discounts on Sky services: up to 50% off TV, 40% off mobile, and NOW Broadband starting at just £26 a month! I’ve been a bit quiet lately because life has been busy and kind of taken over, but I’ve helped many folks save on their bills here before. So sending this out - if you’d like a code, just send me a PM! I’m happy to help

How much?! Blimey.

If that's the cost of Sky then I won't be renewing my subscription, ever.

I currently pay £29.99 per month for BT Broadband (300mbps download) and £1.15 per month for a Lebara SIM. Oh, and £8 for a shared Netflix account.

Really sorry mate but the codes are for new customers only and it's always been this way. If it was my parents and they were seriously unhappy. 03337592137 ring and say your cancelling and walking away, you'll get through to retentions and should be offered something better.

If you stay with a provider, any provider, and just automatically renew, then they rip you off big time. You would think loyalty would get rewarded but not with ISPs.

I'm with Virgin, have been for years. However, at the end of each contract, I've said I'm leaving and, so far, always been offered a better deal. In fact, my bill shows the discounts I'm getting are halving their 'full' price.

Regarding your folks and the difficulty you are having contacting $ky, several ISP's will now handle the move from your existing provider on your behalf. Just check online those the do this and let them sort it.

Here's an example.

Bare in mind though, if your parents have just renewed with $ky, there can/will be an early leaving fee. That said, some providers will also cover any leaving fee - upto a point.

Hello - I'm trying to negotiate sky tv renewal, however keep speaking to some terrible offshore team who can't answer my questions as well as the onshore team could. Does anyone know how I can speak to someone onshore? I spoke to cancellations offshore and they only offered me £25 off. Thanks

Try the online chat, that's where I'm most successful.

Hi,

Do you have any offers to cover this please?

I've just had my Virgin notification that my Virgin package ends on July 8th and will rise from £61 to £111 per month.

Currently we are on Volt M350 Broadband, Mega TV, Virgin TV 360 box.

Thanks.

Oh, and after some friendly advice on how to watch TV, we currently get our TV through the Virgin box and record stuff on it. Always had Virgin as it was the only way to get quick internet to our house. Now other providers can offer quicker services. Should we change our viewing habits and dump the TV box and go to Broadband, streaming and some other way of recording shows or is everything available on demand now.? I do like recording stuff so I can skip adverts. Handy that it is all in the same place on 1 box. We have a smart TV but it does not have any recording facility. Any advice on how to keep up with modern TV viewing is appreciated.

99% of stuff is on catch up so recording anything is not needed these days.

It is if you can't be arsed to sit through several minutes of ads on some catch up services.

I'm not sure if it's too late for you. Our package just increased by £42 a month to £114. Without any notification!

I used the chat and was immediately offered the same tv/phone deal with better broadband for £78.

As we don't watch half of the tv included, I've swapped to Sky Essentials and an even better broadband package for £50.

The first package was offered straight away, I did have explain the other options I would like and what I would get with Virgin.

Thankfully, 'chat man' offered an equivalent, and we don't actually have to switch to Virgin 😁

When I moved in to my new place I got a deal where it’s basic tv, Netflix and 300mb broadband for 35 a month, over 24 months, think that’s a bargain.

That's pretty much what we've gone for, but with 500mb broadband, phone and multi room and it's £50.
