It should be option 1 but there is no chance the club will want to do that and upset the happy clappers.  It has to be behind the goal not stuck in a corner of the stadium.

It is intended that the type of safe standing will be barriers placed in front of existing seats

Booo.

But at least things have progressed, hope we don't get option 3.

Were these options presented by the club or was it the options presented by FT?

I would imagine club led / heavily influenced towards minimum outlay / effort with a lip service to option 1

As long as the roll it is well thought out and is a complete blank slate where all have to choose to be in there.

I for one would hope (if this does happen) that the UFS would get a more prominent position.

You would hope option 1, especially if there isn’t going to be safe standing in L1 or P1, to then allow those fans into safe standing areas. Last thing we want is people not being able to get into safe standing areas because there isn’t enough space. I worry that would be the case if it was only G1/SK1

We don't have enough participants to do that imo

This would be interesting to see. In a way, they’ve been lucky Southampton because half of that stand was away fans that stood and then another good section was saints fans that stood so the stick they got wasn’t too intense (they still got plenty) with ours it would be a complete shift. I think they’ll go with the smallest possible option.
