Hi All,

I hope this is an acceptable topic to create and doesn't breach any community guidelines. Apologies if that is the case.

I'm a postman working in Leicester and have probably delivered letters/parcels to some of you fellow foxes reading this. I love most aspects of the Job, but the pay only just covers the bills as i'm sure many of you can relate to in the current climate.

So with the rising costs of everything, I started something really exciting on the side to top up my pay check whilst helping others save theirs. I have partnered up with a Utilities company that guarantees to save my friends and family money on their utilities. The company I have partnered with is trusted by over one million customers, and has won over 70 awards in the last decade alone from, Which?, Uswitch, Defaqto and  Moneyfacts.

I would like to extend that service to all of you awesome city fans out there. If you are prepared to spend 20 minutes of your time finding out how you could save (guarenteed) on your utilities then please respond to this post or send a DM and I'd be delighted to help you.

Thanks for reading
Tom

Heard some lad talking on the phone about getting involved in this the other day. Sounded like a pyramid scheme. Pass.

It is not pyramid selling, though I agree it looks like it. They are regulated by both Ofgem and the FSS, however a brief google reveals the customer service is hardly class leading and their energy prices only cheaper than competitors if you bundle with other services which again are not class leading. So ye I would pass.

UW is just pyramid scheme for utilities?

Do your maths and equations, if its cheaper for you then go for it

You can save on energy bills by simply turning off your heating and cuddling pets, doing star jumps and eating hot porridge.

You can save energy bills by changing the password to your smart thermostat.

When there is a manual override, you could be 200miles away but you can still turn it off and whatsapp the missus to put a fckjng dressing gown on. 👍

(I'm not joking, thats what I do).

This went well!  :)

I am a customer myself, and the savings, service and convenience are genuine, I know because i have experienced it!

So for me I don't worry about how it's marketed, just crack on and save yself some cash.

I miss the days on this forum when we'd have thunderbirds memes floating around the Tinder thread, some bloke trying to get us to vote for his kid to be the next face of Kinder chocolate and someone getting lambasted for daring to post,  'kermo was decent.'

Now we've got pyramid selling/recruiting. Where did it go wrong?

I'm not joking either. My post is unbelievably precisely what SSE advised customers to do during the last hike in fuel bills.

I tried but I can't manage all 3 at the same time.

The cat doesn't like porridge.
