We are shit. Pretty simple really. A truly awful squad of shit players with no technical ability and delusions of grandeur.

Very true ... I seem to recall it being said many times ... " we have a squad good enough to stay in the premiership " ... well we haven't.. we have a shit defence ..  a midfield with no quality or creation and a misfiring forward line and are reliant on a 38 year old who has gave his all to the club but can't do it anymore ... overall we have no quality.. no consistency.. no creativity.. no passion ... no fight ... no anger and definitely NO CHANCE

Just checked 77-78 under Frank McKlintock. I always regard that as the worst top flight season I can remember. We had a six in a row and a five in a row, but not sure if there were cup games that increased those. We managed to score just 26 league goals that season.

I remember the commentators joking that we'd had our name changed by deed poll to Leicester City Nil 😬.

Frank demolished Jimmy Bloomfield's team and brought in a load of his old teammates. It didn't work.

It's the first season I can remember lol

Maybe that's tempered my expectations compared to others who call for the managers head after a couple of losses.

I feel like a manager like Wayne Rooney could definitely get us out of the Championship next season.

Yes, its been a while since we've been in league one.

Just get the feeling he's not into Leicester full glass...maybe that's why he hasn't  got any backroom staff and signings......he's waiting if the miracle happens and we stay up

He hasn’t got them cos we have no money for them 😂

I wouldn't call it insightful, any random City fan could have wrote it.

It’s still a very good article though and the best I’ve read in terms of pinning the blame on the combination of weird player power dynamics, an incompetent board and the general issues. The club really should’ve given Enzo free rein to dictate the structure of the footballing side last season even if there was a risk he’d leave. But we didn’t because they’re paranoid.

The one bit that made me laugh is the idea of “Rudkin’s desire for the best deal”. Absolutely ridiculous. Best deal for who?

It must be frustrating when you have a clear plan, but the club are donkeys and employs coaches and they are poop. Indirectly, they have set him to fail. It's farcical.

It really doesn't tell us anything new.

Ruud really needs to walk.

He isn't at fault in all of this, with the right backing he could have done a decent job, but hopefully him walking could be the straw that breaks the camels back and we see big changes in the structure of this club.

Yes but does that matter? It increases the noise around the board/ownership.  It feels like the dam has broken now and it is open season on Rudkin.

Example - It is pretty well known that Rudkin is difficult to deal with (astonishing really that Levy and others still manage to dry bum him so regularly) but it's good to see it being reported in the national press.

Yes, a certain George Armstrong right winger comes to mind, gray haired and gray beard, looked older than me now! And I’m mid sixties!

I can't believe the defence Ruud gets. Yes the board are part of the problem but he's not the man we need. One of our worst run of defeats on record. If he wasn't a "name" the fans would be treating him completely differently. Yes Cooper wasn't great but he did grind out just enough points to keep us in it.

Ruud has played the same team, tactics and formation week in week out and doesn't work with this squad.

Awful awful subs and games management and Cooper had us score more than 1 goal on a couple of occassions. If the fans gad got behind him no way he would have lost 8 on thr bounce. People forget he did a whole season in the prem was well liked at forest and kept them up.

We've got used to the possession based fancy football which time has proven we dont have the squad for.

RVN needs to go and we will pick up some points.

There’s zero evidence to indicate anything would change if he left.
