                      Mads

      Faes   Vesterguard  Coady

                  Skipp. Ndidi

  Mcateer  Facundo  Bilal    Mav
                         Vardy

This would be the best formation I'd put Okoli in for Coady if not injured.

Mcateer and Mav can help cover the wing backs along with Skip and Ndidi covering the wider areas at the back and in front of the defence.

Then on transition we would be able to get more body's forward and increase our chances of creating more.

covers all areas when attacking defending.

Enough quality going forward and a more balanced team across the midfield, defence.

Atm we are selecting teams with Facundo and Vardy as the only attacking options, no wonder we create **** all, even with Mav in there 3 attackers is not going to cut it.

I'd like him in the side but I'm not sure we can trust Mav to track back as a WB.
They would have a field day exposing Coady

True but he did a lot of tracking back in the Championship, and yea I'd prefer Okoli in there over Coady.

Id trust Mav to track back as WB more than I'd trust Kristiansen to do, well, anything, as LB...

Not sure why anyone is bothering with these back 3/5 line ups.

He's Dutch, they have one system, one ethos, he will stick to it, that's why he's be brought in as the players liked that about Enzo.

It'll be 4-3-3

He will want us to press

4-2-3-1? is probably the best option in the short term as we don't have Fatawu available.

Perhaps. I can see him giving Kasey a start and putting an arm round him, seems like his sort of player.

Could say that about any formation, especially a back 3/5 that's just seen us get trounced?

For what it's worth, I don't think he will knock the confidence of the out of form players, in fact I think he'll put an arm round them and try and make them look better in his system (instant brownie points!)

Mads

Justin/Kasey (one of his big things at PSV was a roaming wing back)

Vesty

Okoli

Kristiansen

Wilf

Skipp

Alves (you never know....)

Bounanote

Vardy

Mav

This will just present the same problems we have been seeing where the midfield is non existent and the back four not good enough.

Justin - Okoli* - Vestergaard - Kristiansen

Skipp - Ndidi

El Khannous - Buonanotte - Mavididi

Vardy

*if fit. Resort to Faes reluctantly if not.

Let’s hope RvN gets Bilal involved, and he can have a similar effect on him as he did on Amad at United.

It would be nice if in a few weeks time, we can look back and say…”Why on earth did Cooper not play him more?”
