Brentford 4 Leicester 1 Post Match Thread.

Watching MOTD what the FUCH or should I say where the FUCH is our Defence or WHAT THE FUCH is our defence doing ? 
 

Leaving so much space for the opposition to just walk into our box,  Faes don’t know WHAT THE FUCH has happened to him but he looks like he’s lost the plot completely others remind me of Rabbits in headlights?

 

Not only that the midfield giving away balls that they should be taking and pushing forward seems like they just are MIA at times giving Nothing to The front line, Ruud has got a fuching job on his hands with this lot a kick in the Balls or what but something needs doing or else we will be having a one way ticket back to the EFL NIGHTMARE!

 

Sort these fuchers out RUUD get some loans in January sell the deadwood get us back on track for EPL survival !!

This is very much where I am after today. That was our Fulham game from 22/23. Horrendous performance - I doubt very much any team can come back from that performance and to be honest, there are players who have given up. Not even 15 games up and they’ve given up. It will take RVN a minimum of 3/4 months to implement his system. We’ll be cut a drift well before then.

St least is wasn’t as bad as the match where Gary Parker took caretaker control. We last 6-0 to Leeds in that.

It was like musical statues for the majority of that first half. 

 

These fuchers don't have a scooby of how to defend 

 

If Ruud can get a tune out of them it'll be a miracle

More about picking the battles though I’d say. You can’t sign a full new team in January so what are the priorities.

 

Defence wise, Faes is an absolute state. JJ is just poor. Neither of them can still be in the team. 
 

The question is whether, with other parts of the defence sorted, could Thomas and Kristiansen get us by. I’d say probably yes, they have both shown good signs which suggested confidence or lack of leadership and experience. 
 

Thomas I have always felt had something. Whether that’s this level or not but he has been awfully managed in terms of coming through under Rodgers (poor kid) and the loans to the likes of Sheffield United didn’t help. I’d like to think he can still be a success something at a good level.

I miss Fuchs. etc...they wouldn't have let that happen. 

 

Its more than a coaching thing. We have too many bomb scare defenders. Out of them, Vesty is probably the best defender overall. But the rest you can't rely on. To survive you need a reliable defence which at the moment they're not. Also the spine in the team is weak. No one in midfield takes control, and it's been a problem for a a while for me.

 

Our best asset is Mads, and looking at his reaction yesterday, he looks like he's had enough. He would love to have a Morgan/Huth in front of him. Defenders that can take control and won't be bullied. The second and third goal especially was awful. Every single defender looking at the ball and not aware of their surroundings. 

 

I hope RVN brings is some top quality coaches, but I think we need to start again with a strong spine to the team.  Though I fear it's too late. 

 

Unless there is a miracle, I fear we'll be a mid table struggling championship side in a couple of seasons...at best. 

 

I really hope I'm wrong and Ruud has some magic beans. I'll back him as much as I can, but has the rot already set in?

It's nowhere near too late.  We've got 6 games to get through before we get to January.  Even if we lost the lot we'd still be in touching distance because the bottom 6 aren't all going to go on 6 game winning streaks.  Even if they all pull out a point a game average that still puts us a couple of wins behind with half a season to play.  If some do better than that, some will undoubtedly do worse.

I hope you're right.

 

Fuchs, Huth, Morgan and Simpson were all had the same mentality, so they understood each other and could communicate. This lot all think like individuals, with different ideas. If we can, we need someone to organise these plonkers and get players on how RVN wants to defend. At the moment, they don't know if they're coming or going.

We just cannot ignore how many shot we have to face and not recognise midfields role in blocking such opportunities. We have to try starting Skipp more, or maybe Hamza, alongside a more progressive midfielder

They also had an absolute desire to keep the ball out of the net - these fuchers not so much

The midfield yesterday was 2 man vs a the 3 man of Brentford.  The whole setup was a clusterfxxk of poor ideas and execution.  If you look at the positions of both midfields yesterday you'll also see that the 3 of Brentford were spread across the pitch while Soumare and Wilf were basically wearing the same boots. So a man less and occupying the same space.

We shouldn't just accept that we're heading down. That’s ridiculous. Yes, we took a beating yesterday, but it was against the team in the best form in the league. The new manager hasn’t even had his first training session yet. Considering the team selection and the system we used, it’s not exactly shocking, is it? Playing Coady and Thomas, who’ve barely had any game time, in a setup the players haven’t worked on was always going to be tough. The only players who left the pitch with any credit were Mads, Vardy and Bounanotte.

 

By some miracle, we’re still not in the bottom three and haven’t spent any time there yet. Teams like Palace, Wolves, Ipswich, and Southampton are struggling just as much. There's four home games coming up, we need to make sure we are getting something from them

Remember, they don’t care! 
 

if you’re gonna party and make a mockery of this club, at least put half an effort in the following game, this is so completely unacceptable. For me it’s wages docked and some players transfer listed, need half this squad getting rid now, it’s rotten to the core

Were the Copenhagen players being punished yesterday? Most of those that didn’t go played, and I think only Coady of those that did go, started. This may have affected Dawson’s selection and given the chaotic week we’ve had, I don’t think we can blame him for this gutless performance….

Team doesn't have the legs and energy required imo. It's OK blaming the defence (and they are full of mistakes granted) but there's not a lot in front of them to help. Ndidi and Soumare both slow. Problem is what else have we got in the cupboard? Maybe Hamza and McAteer? I think we need to pack the midfield for now as teams appear to be able to waltz through us at will. We need a clean sheet or two!
