How is going out of a competition beneficial to a team!?

 

Something has really ruined people's perceptions of cup competitions and it's sad. But what is it? The Premier League? Sky? Payers telling us they can't play so many games?

 

Cup competitions are a nice break from the league. Something different. Anything can happen, as proven already in the FA Cup this season.

No doubt Chelsea will get nice easy home tie... Morecambe at home or summit, whilst we get tough away tie at Tottenham.

 

Tamworth v Birmingham would be interesting thats a pro Villa town. In fact train back noticed how the Tamworth lot were talking more about Villa than about Tamworth.

FA Cup draw should be at the lowest placed club / Town, not the holders.

 

Get local schools involved and let the kids or the dinner ladies make the draw, not two washed up footballers. Get the community love back in this competition. 

 

Drives me mad! I suggested this to the FA and to the EFL for the league cup but all that came about it was my boss at Brentford receiving an email from the Commercial department of the EFL telling me not to interfere 🤣

 

Wild innit!
