Yes. Full 90 minutes.

Therefore our goalkeeper order of preference is

Mads

Stolarczyk

Filbert Fox

Someone from the shop

Someone from admin

The bloke from the burger van

Prize winner from the audience that isn't Ward.

Ward plays in goal I'd be tempted to leave before kick off, pointless to try to win the game with him goal. We could score three, but he'd end up conceding four. Ward for is semi-retired, he was okay against a league two opposition where he's unlikely to face much but up against a fast paced higher up opposition he'd be out of his depth.

Never a top flight keeper, how Brendan Rodgers thought he would be good replacement for Kasper Schmeichel his beyond me. He'd only played like five games in the premier league in over 10 years. Spend most of the time either on bench or going out on brief loan spells to lower league clubs. To think he was given the number one shirt without playing many games is just bizarre.

It's difficult not to have the same feelings and for those who were there at Forest in the cup, Brighton, Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea at home etc etc the sheer incompetence of Ward gives PTSD type flashbacks.

Morgan Gibbs White had a similar charge as Cunha has been given. He wasn't banned until around 3-4 weeks later. There's a good chance he's available for the weekend.

If mads isn’t fit then ward starts

ruud is not infected with the same ward virus that we all are

Ruud will also be aware that Stolarczyk was Hermansen's number two last season. Plus, he will have seen both of them in training. The only reason he'd choose Ward would be if there were any doubts over Stolarczyk's fitness, which seems unlikely as he played 90mins on Monday for the development squad without any issues.

He’d not played for many months

he’d not be considered match sharp - less relevant for a keeper but still important. split second judgements.

He might make a call to his mate enzo again for some advice 😄

I'd argue the opposite. Harder to gauge your positioning, timing on crosses and balls into the box, coming out for 1v1s, all things that can lead to goals and be more costly than an outfielder being bailed out by team-mates around him.

Hopefully that was why Stolarczyk played on Monday.

Clearly a better option from Ward - One will burger up the penalty area the other will bugger up. A hot dog would actually be similar to Ward - Pork Quality. And don't tell me, you heard about his selection from a reliable sauce :D.

I know the manager change adds a little bit more hope for Wolves, but this is probably the best fixture you can ask for at the moment. They've been shipping goals for fun and have been losing their heads. Time for us to step up and get another 3 points on the board.

As someone who has seen the full effects of PTSD, I find this post wholly accurate!

Ward isn't match sharp either. Stolarczyk has 90 minutes under his belt which is 45 minutes more than Ward.

Surely Cunha can’t assault someone on the pitch in full view of the cameras and then just trot onto the pitch like nothing’s happened on Sunday. The F A would look like mugs (I know they are but still…).They can’t let it happen.

Pretty sure I saw Iverson with the squad at Newcastle so I imagine he’s in the frame if replacement for Mads required, also makes me wonder if there was an issue for Mads in the days before the game.

There is always 3 keepers with every matchday squad in the Premier League. Usually for warm-ups and if one gets injured in the warm up then there is someone on the bench.

If protocols are followed then sadly he can.  He’ll miss a number of wolves matches. Unfortunately I think our game could come too early for his suspension. I’d expect wolves to appeal any sanction above 3 matches. I’d expect that with Xmas period upcoming that could delay his suspension for a couple more games.  Wolves have till Thursday evening to submit their thoughts. Hopefully his sanction is issued on Friday. If not, then he plays against us.  If he receives a ban more than three games and wolves appeal the length then I’m not sure if the whole five games have to wait until the appeal has been heard.

We heard whispers pre season that cooper was impressed with ward, maybe ward is a better trainer than a match keeper?

Don’t get me wrong I think he is a good guy but I would think he is better at most things than being a matchday keeper. I wouldn’t let him wash up the best crockery though.

I’m not sure that’s an issue as Ward has no reaction time anyway and certainly doesn’t make split second judgements.

Was it the second goal he conceded to make it 3-0 at the weekend, even if it was not his fault as it was a close range header, the fact he is diving when the ball is already in the net is quite embarrassing really.
