Like you say, not much juice shared but that’s a result of the highly media trained modern day player and many of them still wanting a media role/club role. Have to remember it’s the first event of this kind they’ve done and as they get older will no doubt loosen up a bit more.

Huth came out of it best. Really good sense of humour and could see that the other three really admired him when he was speaking.

Simpson was closest to spilling some of the tea and you can tell he yearns for those Leicester days again. I suspect he’s never managed to find the happiness he did during that period of his life. He clearly cares for the club.

Morgan spoke well and it was interesting to hear him say that his children are Leicester fans. He’s clearly very close with Simpson and was well involved in the social scene at the club.

Albrighton said he’d jump at an opportunity to get involved with the club again and thought he gave an interesting answer to the ‘if you could play one game again’ question - the FA Cup final but at a full Wembley.

Overall, it was just nice to hear and see the dynamic between them all. They’ve got their 2026 Reunion WhatsApp group and sounds like they’re all still relatively well in touch (including Mahrez and Kante). They also clearly have huge affection for the club and feel that the culture has gone awry and they could help fix that.

But, yes, the auction was a bit annoying. Especially given the proceeds weren’t going to any good cause as far as I’m aware and might have just been lining the pockets of the guy who put the night on?

They spoke highly or Demari Gray in the sense he was a core part of the group as well.

I still can’t get my head round why some fans booed him this season. He also scored the goal v Swansea after Vichai’s passing

funny that Riyad is the one organising the 2026 reunion (again, a player that fans boo)

kante best player they had ever played with

you won’t find an ex player that loves the club more than Danny Simpson

I remember going to one of these years ago at the DMH and Robbie Savage was one of the guests.

He was dressed head to toe in a white hat/suit/shoes and basically the entire night was just everyone taking the piss out of him.

I remember being in my local one night savage taking the piss out of a guy that would of buried him for put him in a wheel chair for life. After about ten minutes Neil lennon took him out and never to return. Lennon was in most weeks though.

Savage was just an idiot.

I didn’t think they really spoke highly of Dimi Gray, they more spoke about him getting pranked, always being late etc but didn’t give him any praise as such.

On the auction, how have people ended up paying that sort of money for what they did lol I’ve bought some shit in my time but I’ve also bought plenty of match worn shirts for much less than people paid for a signed and framed photo tonight.

They were banging on about these being unique one off items and then after someone had spunked £300+ she said they actually had two of them to sell lol

Felt like a scam didn’t it.

I'd have a night out with Huth.

In reference to their opinions on the current state of the club, I found what wasn't said more interesting than what was. Aiyawatt didn't get much praise.

Thought it was interesting what their thoughts were on the current state of the club and identity, and how they appeared keen on having some involvement. Huth was hilarious.

I thought the event was decent - having been to a few in the past, incl smaller ones, they can be very hit and miss, but I think the presenter and the 4 players made it work well and it was a decent 2 hours!

Hopefully something in the pipeline for the 10 year anniversary next year.

Nice to see Wes staying after the end signing autographs and photos. Class guy. We really should be getting him into the club in some capacity. He's intelligent, sensible, and people look up to him.

I get the  point you’re trying to make, but you may want to reword that 👍🏼

Is he still working for Forest?

Was even worse for me. I paid for me and my dad for the top.tier meet and greet. When we had tickets scanned, they hadnt told us what to do, so we wondered into the bar and never got to attend the meet and greet. Didnt find out till it was too late, which was somewhat annoying. We complained and they apologised and said we should have been told

Did you not think the time to ask when they scanned the ticket where you had to go? these days you can't assume people will go above and beyond to tell you every instruction!

Not relevant to the thread but anybody who boo’s Riyad Mahrez is not right in the head. Like think about it and how history has evolved, how he still interacts with the club and what he did for us. It’s pure insanity.

He refused to train to try and force through a move and described his two seasons with us after winning the league as "two years wasted", despite the fact that he was the one who decided to sign a new contract with the club on massive wages.

Gray would walk into this team on either wing or number 10.

Ahead of Fatawu (realistically our best player), our generational talent in Monga or Ramsey (who has scored more in 4 matches than Gray has in 10)?

Who are you dropping for "DG7"?

Not really, was a bit tired, didnt know what to expect, i understand i could have been a bit more forthright but nevertheless, they admitted we should have been told

I was on row c so got a close up of them, one of them looked like it had a glue bubble on the photo and the frames looked shocking. Dont the sell these things in the club shop for a lot less?

If anyone's playing against us I don't want to see us rolling out the red carpet for them. I can accept booing Gray more than clapping Maddison for every corner he takes against us or singing Nugents song when he comes on against us.

I think we booed Kante during game and clapped him after. Don't mind that. Anyone who's gone is gone. They didn't think about us when they left and we shouldn't think about them after. Not while they're playing us.

Yet his tally of 1 goal and 1 assist from 11 is surpassed or equalled by Monga, Fatawu and Ramsey
