said it before, I'll say it again, if they'd sold up when the crash happened and the last 6 years had occured under new ownership, everyone would recognize them as destroying every foundation that was left. Getting rid of Rudkin and Whelan isn't enough, Aiyawatt needs to **** off, he's a disgrace to his dad and he's ruining this club

The 22/23 relegation was the ultimate **** up relegation. Never should’ve happened and embarrassing that it did.

To follow that up with this relegation is unforgivable. Going down is one thing. Going down with a double digit gap between us and our nearest competitor, for a club of our size and after what we recently achieved is embarrassing.

and for those who say it, “usual” Leicester is not finishing 12,15,20 points behind Wolves. It never has been.

The 22/23 relegation I’ll never ever forgive, that is ultimately what has ****ed us.

Unfathomable that we are facing a sub 20 point season with the squad we went up with.

Absolutely fvcked it already lmao

Susan Whelan, Leicester City Chief Executive, said: “Operating outside of the Premier League during the 2023/24 season required some obvious adjustments compared with previous years. However, we achieved success on the pitch and attained promotion and the Championship title at the end of the season.

“As a Club, we still have work to do to return to the consistent heights of the last 15 years and the ability to successfully adapt to different challenges is a strength we will rely on as we build for future seasons.

“Thank you to our supporters, staff and partners for the vital roles they play in the Club’s development, for the loyalty they continually demonstrate and for the passion that will fuel our future progress.”

Well said. Even more so with upcoming games being on tv. Poor for their brand image and ultimately, poor for their pockets.

I have it on good authority it's actually 1 inch but other than that I agree.

Pass on a message to Rudkin that he's a twat please.

The big problem here is that Aiyawatt wants to take all of the glory, be the centre of attention and hand out awards without having any reason to do it. He wants to do the rewards first, rather than the success. That's why he made such a big deal out of the procession promotion last season. It was a perfect chance to justify his ridiculous position.

They got attached to being the heroes of the show after 2016 and you've now got a situation where everyone who plays for us gets treated like they achieved something. It's like a private company having a special workforce make a few million a few years back but those have all now moved on and those today are still reaping the rewards. They've all got ferraris as company cars with nothing done to achieve it.

Combine this with their generally lazy, corner cutting approach and a fanbase who for the most part holds them to very little accounts. It's a seriously damaging situation where only decline can possibly occur. How far down we go, it's really hard to say.

You’re bang on here. Even if you cut away from the passion of being a football fan and everything that happens on the pitch- good and bad, and look solely at the accounts, the way the club has been run, the opportunities missed, then it’s a complete BUSINESS failure as much as it is a football one.

It happens. At least it does if you read Alan Sugars autobiography (concerning Amstrad, not Spurs) Owners of large businesses make mistakes,  take their eyes off the ball, ideas turn into a flop. You hire the wrong Director, the stock market plunges, suppliers let you down. Whatever

The difference between Sugar and Top is that Sugar recognised what he’d done/what had happened and swiftly rectified it. Top just keeps digging.

I might burn a Thai flag outside the stadium.

Maybe these idiots will finally get it at that point.

How on earth is that incompetent **** still in charge.

The players look disengaged and like they’re waiting for the inevitable.

We've no passage of play.

We’ve no game control.

We’ve got a defence that’s as error bound as a toddler taking its first steps.

Then we look about as potent in attack as a lethal injection that is filled with water and not some nasty fluid!

If you start burning Thailand Flags, we can expect a strongly worded letter in the next program from Top, blaming the fans.

I don't mind loosing games, it's sport.

I don't mind getting relegated, it happens.

What I do mind, is professionals, both on and more importantly off the pitch, taking the piss out of me, the history, the badge and the county of Leicestershire.

Put supporters first, otherwise, get out.

I think this is where a lot of the frustration is now.

Since those first two games under RVN where we shouldn’t have taken any points, we’ve got slowly worse and largely looked uninterested.

The PR from the club is self harming and to be honest, King Power seem to want to bury its head in the sand rather than acknowledge what a dumpster fire we are.

What's mad to me is how obvious it is to anyone who takes a quite casual view. What's useful in football is there's a very obvious measure of your success so it really isn't hard to identify when things need to be changed.

You could've put the last relegation down to a freak (I wouldn't personally) but this now is definitive proof that things need to change. I can't remember a squander quite like this one to be honest.
