Top is massively out his depth and he has put his trust in Rudkin and Whelan who should of been moved on long ago! King power is not at fault here its Top its him that should be taking the flack not him hiding behind a company name! he has to get a grip of this situation quickly! the whole backroom staff look lost and clueless from fan decisions to player decisions. This isn't a new problem, this has been coming for some time under Top! and the fact of the matter is he just hasnt got a clue how to run a football club successfully but the people around him should of noticed this long ago and sorted it before its got into the mess we are in now, which i think its come to the point with the state the clubs in, Top not being able to be undo the mess hes made without a change in ownership and a whole different mindset needed.

They're the same thing.

Not me.

Me neither, only done 4 games this year on my ST, I think I managed to sell it 4x on the official exchange in first half of the season but nobody wants the punishment of a ticket now.

Had ST since 1998 and before that went to as many home games as possible

Totally agree with your other point, fed up of donating money to millionaires on the pitch that could not care one bit about the fans in the stands

Most of them enter the stadiums with head phones on to ignore the fans, and lets be honest they're lucky to be able to be paid like they are to simply kick a ball about.

The sad thing none of us will be missed.

no they are not King power is a company that has been bailing Top, Rudkins and Whelans mistakes out for the last 5 years. King power has not ruined this club! Top has with his decisions and mis management! and if it wasn't for King Power we would be in an even bigger mess!

You have to wonder what's going through Aiyawatt's head.

Are the negligent board members staying within a failed structure at a nosediving football club because:

1. He genuinely doesn't think anything is wrong enough to force action, despite evidence to the contrary.

2. His blind loyalty to Rudkin and Whelan is preventing action.

3. He doesn't know what to do. Indecision paralysis.

4. He doesn't care.

I think it can only be 4. I could understand this debate two years ago. Not anymore. To allow it to play out again, somehow even more embarrassingly can only tell me it's 4. He's not arsed. Nobody who cares could ever let it get to this point. It's way beyond incompetence. I'd back virtually anybody on here to do a better job than this. Simply caring would be an upgrade.

This just has to be satire.

I agree ,but surely  in a couple of years when he has to write off another 100 million or so someone in the family will say enough  is enough  wouldn't  you think .

Let's be honest, Top used the club as a vanity opportunity when Vichai was in charge. A chance to rub shoulders with the world's best. He isn't a chairman or a owner. Never has been, never will be. We were thrust upon him through tragic circumstance and he hasn't got either the knowledge, desire or sense to run us properly. I imagine he will never sell though unless forced to through bankruptcy because of the sentimental value. Which is shit for us.

Possibly. He may feel obliged to do it due to what did happen to his Dad here. But I'm not seeing somebody showing any care or love for it. It is quite possible he's just lost interest. Or I just suspect he's somebody who's never had to achieve anything to get into the position he's in and therefore can't be bothered with the troughs, and only wants the peaks.

Think you’ve hit the nail on the head with the last bit

He strolls around Bangkok wearing the club shop and is the first on the pitch when we win something

But anytime theirs difficult decisions to be made they aren’t taken or put off to the last possible moments

Are you mad? Top runs the ****ing club…..and if they’re the only ones to blame, why hasn’t he sacked them?

The owner having to plug gaps with his own money isn’t a good owner, it’s a negligent one.

Think it's a mixture of No. 2 and 3 myself. Not having the ruthless streak his Father had dealing with a problem IS the problem. Everything, from transfers in and out, removing an underperforming Manager or appointing a new one takes an age. Costs the club every time.

Caught a beautiful pic of stadium today

I’ve just been out with my six year old daughter to a cafe in the Lake District and I’m wearing an LCFC shirt. On the table next to me there is a young boy talking about how he supports Newcastle, presumably because they’re good now and beat Liverpool in the league cup final. His Mum says “but you do know you’re a scouser?” - well he didn’t sound like one. Anyway, they continue to talk about this, and then out of the corner of my eye I see the Mum lean in to talk to the Grandma over the table and she puts her hand over her mouth to shield her voice. On a low volume she said “he supports Leicester…” - as if it was a source of shame and embarrassment. And it is, but finally with mainstream media cottoning on to our decline (and perhaps now other football fans), I think the pressure will ramp up now.

King Power Out.

Absolutely reading far too much in to it but....

The main plane hasn't gone anywhere since the earthquake, and the other one hasn't moved since Feb.

I'm used to him not attending our games much, but it seems like all things KP have even ground to a halt since 19th March. Used to seeing him make regular monthly trips in and around thailand.

It worries me given the 'waiting to hear from top' comments from the dutch journalist, that perhaps there's something a foot in thailand that is occupying his time.
