We can't compete in the Northern Premier League when we've got such an expensive training facility like St Margaret's Pastures to up keep. Bhumibol got us a great deal on using it though so we can't give it up, you just have to trust in the process. The Rudkin-Beaglehole's have given this club so much as well, bet you only turned up after the FA vase win.

I look forward to the derby v the phoenix club played at Saffron Lane Athletics Stadium.

Presumably the KPFC folk would have no hesitation in accepting Aiyawatt’s son taking over in the year 2060 even if he had no experience in football and poor business acumen. But it’s ok because he’s part of Srivaddhanaprabha dynasty.

I see what you are getting at, and the answer probably is yes, but it’s not exactly the same is it.

Top has experience in football working with his dad for us.

A little naughty of me and catty but

That experience was largely being chummy with the players and making sure their wine glass was full on one of the private dining evenings.

I completely get that there is a huge question on what his involvement was, and how successful he was at that, but just wanted to point out that he hasn’t/shouldn’t have come in with no knowledge of football.

Probably things to get more pace on the wing we can put mav on one of his horsies

Top’s experience of being hands on under Sven and Sosa was such a disaster that Vichai had to get more involved and led to us being investigated by the EFL for financial irregularities

Imagine how easily we could have been a Derby or Sheffield Wednesday as a result and yet because things worked out well thanks to other people, we ended up worshipping them and the King of Thailand.

Been taken for absolute mugs by these lot.

Seen Martis interview on a number of players asked in the summer if they could leave?

It makes me wonder a couple of things

1. How many of them
2. How many millions have we paid them since August
3. Is that why Martí has persisted with certain players- to keep their stock high?

Option 3 has backfired if that's the case haha.

I think he wanted to gice chances to keep the senior players onside as not to cause unrest in an already dismal dressing room. He eluded to that earlier in the season.

Obviously now, certain players are being phased out who clearly aren't on board.

Got to imagine Winks and Bouba will leave this window, if only on loan.

Winks and Faes suffer from thinking they're Top 10 Premier League quality so have to keep coming up with reasons everything is everyone else's fault. I cannot imagine any self respecting club coming in for either. Sorry @hfaes

It's obvious they both asked to leave and that's why they were initially benched and probably come round to the idea of actually, god forbid, playing football? Obviously actually playing at this level and displaying how distinctively Championship they are became too embarrassing for them and they've yet again thrown their toys out the pram. Again though, I'm sure it's down to the club not getting the right managers or the adjustment to the breakfast menu at Seagrave.

Anything but taking accountability for being the epitome of everything everyone hates about modern footballers.

100% yes. Instructions on that came from above him.

Yep, and I wasn’t saying otherwise or justifying his multiple cock ups, I was just pointing out that the post I quoted wasn’t the same situation as Top taking over.

Their stock is probably lower than it would have been had they rotted in the reserves 🤣

That’s my belief too. There had to be reason he was championing youth in the summer, then persisted with what can only be described as spineless cnuts

Edited so you can actually see them being called cnuts rather than a load of asterisks

KPFC loyal will never turn on Aiyawatt purely because he’s Vichais son and they have a parasocial relationship with the family.

he’s made a couple of interesting comments, including “ some of the more experienced professionals are blocking younger players path to the first team”

how could he possibly say that if he retained full control over team selection?

The best chance of some of our dead wood going I suppose is by giving them game time. The hope is a couple of the donkeys will leaven despite getting no game time for months (Faes, Soumare, Winks). I reckon the best chance is Faes with the world cup around the corner but if no one matches their wages I can see them staying put.

It would be (mildly) interesting to know how many other Club's fans think their owners are absolute incompetent tosspots.

Apart from us, I would hazard a guess at Man Utd, Chelsea, Tottenham, West Ham, Wolves, Norwich, Sheff Wed and Celtic.

Maybe some others?   Who knows?   Who cares?

Definitely Blackburn as well.

Our best chance of getting rid of them is having a DOF who isn't absolutely useless. Forget all of our ideas on Faes for example, this is a player who is in the Belgium set up in a World Cup year. You're not telling me there wouldn't be a single taker on the continent.

Turkish teams are obsessed with signing players who stink it out in the Premier League. He's right up their street. One of them would bite.

I bet we are the only ones with an owner who only has "inherited Daddy's money" on his CV and a glorified P.E teacher running the whole of football operations by himself.

I just don't see why he wants to keep us, you're hemorrhaging money left right and centre from both businesses (KP and LCFC), the only thing I can think of is he's borrowed money against the assets of the club to fund King Power while they try and transition which is why we can't/haven't been sold.
