While the manager did need sacking, he’s just another manager they’ve appointed and sacked. At some point you’d think those finding and hiring these managers would be sacked themselves..

Listened to his interview with RL Leicester. Absolutely shocking. Aside from seemingly backing Cifuentes hours before he was sacked, the worst bit was when he was asked what are the consequences if we don't get promoted this year, and he just laughed and said "we'll get promoted next year". Delusion at the highest level.

Yep. That’s the mentality at the club. “It’ll sort itself out” they won’t have even considered the fact we could go down

Crap interview. Nothing asked about the general situation around the club.

The questions were probably pre-agreed. He wouldn't agree to really probing questions.

"If a chairman sacks the manager he initially appointed, he should go as well"

Brian Clough.

Not sure what Brian would have said about anyone appointing three fckwits.

True but it does nothing for trying to get the fans onside.

My god above maybe it’s better if the clown doesn’t speak. Interview summary.

Marti is doing well but we know we have to help him quickly

Automatic promotion might be difficult so we will aim for the playoffs

if we don’t get promotion this year, laugh chuckle, we will get promotion next year.

Yes we can sign players, we have to sign good players. But it’s very very limited what we can do

We have to comply with PSR because they are the rules

When the fans see the structure we want to put in place they will see what we are trying to do and how we want to play football.

Utterly delusional.

It’s becoming more apparent that people who were very much in Top’s corner are now turning. There are no more excuses left for him. We’ve sacked Cifeuntes today who was well out of his depth but, a few said this after the last relegation - where he leaves us is scary thought. Many were ridiculed for saying so. Those same people who ridiculed insulted (who won’t admit it now) are very much in the Top out camp.

He’s the problem for this club. His family. His fathers businesses. There is no emotion in his ownership, it’s got nothing to do with “honouring his father”. It’s all about power, control and ego.

You can’t be Leicester and a Top supporter anymore

They're never open enough to show us this structure so this is pure bollocks.

No doubt KPFC fans will lap up the whole interview.

He's taking time out to speak to us so he should be respected.

Fvck off.

I turned that interview off twice half way through to he angry. It’s so clear Top is a massive problem. Utterly clueless!
Why was he doing an interview before the meeting with Marti??!!??

why did he sound like he was backing him then sacked him a couple of hours later.
It’s all so amateur hour as always with us.
He needs to get some help in or sell up.
How can be laugh and just flippantly say we will be promoted next season if we don’t achieve it this year? He has no clue how bad a situation we are in on the football side. It’s almost as if he doesn’t understand it….

He comes across like a naive child. I actually can’t believe how thick he is. Although it explains an awful lot. Completely reaffirms what anyone with half a brain already suspected - he’s totally incapable of running the club and must go.

There is no hope that Top will turn things around, but what worries me now is even if Top sells up and Rudkin goes, the hole we are dug into will be impossible to get out of.

If we manage to eventually shift out the unwanted high earners, we still have the horrific running costs of Seagrave and the overhang from previous years of overspending Vs PSR.

Villa were in a similar position but found that £70m loophole by shifting the stadium ownership, and then used that to play the PSR game until they were back in the PL and funding was secured.

It's a bleak outlook, a potential buyer is going to have to come up with some creative thinking and accounting to get us back on level ground.

Creative accounting combined with sensible player contracts, everything would be good within a few years.

Has anyone put together a summary of the things gone wrong under top I can send to my friend who supports another club who is asking what they have done wrong?

You only have to see how we’ve dropped in so little time. Top 6/European Football, plus winning the FA Cup, to mid table Championship and getting beat by Oxford at home within 5 years. Staggering. Also consider this is our second season at this level in three seasons.

Arrogance and that’s the problem

He thinks we can walk on water

We deserve nothing !!
Good luck to the clubs that put in sweat and hardwork every day
