Polo would be the perfect location for anyone looking to really make a King Power Out protest register when you think about it. He’d see it but, most significantly, so would all the elite he wants to rub shoulders with at that event.

I like your thinking :appl:. Where can you find the Polo fixtures where he'll be playing or in attendance?

Villa are about to make a £35m profit on Tielemans, after Rudkin let him run down his contract and go for free with a load of other players.

Well done Jon. Enjoy the promotion. You’ve earned it.

See, it’s shit outcomes like this that piss the fans off about Rudkin. Aiyawatt the Great can’t and won’t see that though.

As one of the people who won't be going next season, to the ones who are going ......will the protests carry on with the same vigor or is it a case or new season, new start? Hopefully the pressure is kept on.

There sadly was little vigor for them last season. The fanbase had it’s moment to stand up but bar the West Brom stay away game, it pulled what was two low in numbers protest marches.

If you put together the numbers that talk the game on here and online then it dwarfs the numbers who actually turned out.

I’m not trying to stir up negativity but I had a little bit of a penny drop moment the other day which could give some clues as to what’s happened with us.

The recent restructure saw the club split into 2, football operations and commercial operations with the rational given that these would now operate exclusively with no overlap. In reality what might that mean?

Well two of the possibilities are as follows…

1- money meant for commercial operations was influencing/impacting football operations.

2- money from commercial operations was influencing football operations.

So my question, does that mean that money from football operations has been disappearing out of the back door commercially? Look at all of the absolute tat we end up with in the club shop, is there a possibility that these contracts have links to King Power and Top was taking money out of the footballing side to cover up his poor business decisions with them?

Pure wild speculation, but it might give us a clue as to what’s been going on.

I think some of the transfer business has been so bad that people must have been on the take. Plus the agent fees we racked up only through selling players.

Also completely possible but a separate point.

This club for the last 4 years has said no positive statements on funding for buying players.

What do we have to spend in division 1 or do we have no money again?

I'm highly critical of how the club has been run in recent years. However, it would be pretty daft for a club to come out publicly and say how much money they've got to spend.

Not sure if it's been reported anywhere else but Charlie Methven has confirmed that Top has placed the requisitie cash in to the club to meet the SCMP protocols.

The clubs basically a teenage child to Top... "Daaaaddd, can I have some more money please" with very little in return other than the faint hope it'll do you proud one day and stand on it's own two feet.

Has an amount been mentioned? Sounds like that would give us an idea of what our wage bill is/ target wage bill for the season is.

No, all he said was it's reassuring Top has given assurance on providing the necessary funds for compliance.

We're also going to make a hell of a lot more in sales than he thought we would. So not all as doom and gloom as he was saying.

I can’t remember what he suggested we might make in sales, but are we really going to make a hell of a lot more?

I think we can ignore the BEK money as we knew we were getting it and you can guarantee that’s been factored in before we got our hands on it.

Nelson and Fatawu. He only said we'd make money for Fatawu and didn't think Top would stump anything up. Was all guess work of course like all this is off the supposed experts.

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying everything is all rosey. Far from it. Just think the situation is redeemable. They don't have many more seconds chances though.

Fair enough. Yeah, it’s about what we manage to bring down our overall costs to for me though as the Nelson and Fatawu money could easily just be used to plug the day to day losses and then you are a year down the line with the Maquary loans still there and no clear way of paying them off.
