Below is a map of the KP;

Why do we have a block called ‘P’ and another block called ‘P1’ without having ‘K’ to go with ‘K1’?

Its sort of alphabetical but there are some letters missing - it seems a little bit strange.

As a younger fox, I’m curious. Apart from the SKs, is there any reason why the stand names are as they are?

Whenever we go to book away tickets, other teams’ stand names are so logical. And ours aren’t. Runs with an ongoing theme I guess 😃

I thought we were gonna name the stands in this thread lol

In seriousness, it's probably laziness or inept planning realising they have another block they forgot about :rolleyes:

Me too.  That would be much more fun.  Stands named after compass points are so boring, why haven't we named them?

I'm going to suggest The Vichai stand, The Jamie Vardy stand, Pearson Terrace and The Gordon Bank(s), but knowing the modern game, if they were to be  named they'd probably call them The Samsung stand, The HSBC stand...etc etc

Same here - how about The Jon Rudkin Stand?

Name the Stands after Leicester legends, The Nigel Pearson Stand, and you will have to have The Jamie Vardy stand.

There are always issues in naming anything after living individuals.  Roads, building etc.

Savile's View in Scarborough was hastily removed & renamed when Jimmy was outed as a wrong 'un.  Mirror group newspapers quite quickly renamed Maxwell House after their owner disappeared around the time the pension funds were found to be a little short.

Calling Jimmy Savile a' wrong un' is a bit like calling Genghis Kahn a bit of a scamp.

I think the Spion Kop blocks were originally D to F but were changed to give the ruffians a natural home at the opposite end to the away fans.

Ruffians ! Ironic really as most people in the in the new  Kop are South stand upper tier tartan blanket brigade. While most of the old school Spion Kop lads are still spread around the ground.

One if the big reasons the atmosphere is so sh 1te

That change came too little, too latte.
