His value is only going to go down when people realise he’s rubbish so get what you can now. Hes not rubbish though is he. Not convinced hes Premier league ready but certainly isnt rubbish 7

Cannons playing in a stoke team just as bad as us, even vardy is getting more chances than him. I think the opposite. Constant game time in a lower league and he’d do okay.
Sly Posted 5 January Posted 5 January Dakas stats in the Championship Vs Cannons stats in the Championship.

Remember that Patson was afforded the luxury of a run of games to get some form. Cannon was given piecemeal mins or binned off the moment Vards or Daka could walk. Important context info. 4

Not much between them to be honest and both are average.
FoxesFourLife Posted 12 January Posted 12 January We should keep Cannon he is 22 and his stats prove he is comparable to Daka if not better, Daka spent most of his career at Salzburg who dominated the league at the time.
Lcfc-1992 Posted 12 January Posted 12 January (edited) Whoever is offering the most as a loan fee but not as a loan to buy Edited 12 January by Lcfc-1992
moore_94 Posted 12 January Author Posted 12 January I personally wouldn’t bother loaning him out anywhere on a loan to buy Leave him at Stoke or only let him go to Sheff Utd or Sunderland as a straight loan 1
moore_94 Posted 12 January Author Posted 12 January Sheff Wed and Luton are also interested apparently

I wouldn’t want him going for either an option or obligation I don’t think we would be getting a good transfer fee to make it that worthwhile for us when there is currently a decent chance we could need him (or another striker) in the Championship ourselves next summer I would rather we left the decision to sell until the summer when we know which league we are in, there would still be plenty of interest in him then Edited 12 January by moore_94 6

I would also add I only sell if we had a striker coming in. But I can understand your logic. Hope we got a decent loan fee from Stoke, also hopefully we can get an even better one with all the interested parties. Edited 12 January by coolhandfox
UniFox21 Posted 12 January Posted 12 January This many clubs are interested for a reason, should definitely keep hold of him
foxfanazer Posted 12 January Posted 12 January If we go down I don't see Vardy staying and our other options aren't good enough so I wouldn't be keen on selling him 2

He's shown he a consist score at Championship level and has started to be included in Ireland squad. I hope if we loan him to another side he get regular games, don't want him going Sheff U to sit on the bench. 1
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 12 January Posted 12 January Be just like us to sell a player who can comfortably score 20 goals in the championship for a decent team on the cheap and get in someone much worse, on higher wages, for more money. 1
foxfanazer Posted 12 January Posted 12 January A proven goalscorer in the championship can be worth mega money. Just hope he keeps banging them in. Be nice if he was at a slightly higher end championship club
