Not one to pass up the opportunity for criticism but we aren't very innovative at networking in markets that might benefit us. We sold Musa to Saudi before it was a money pit and since then zilch.

In fairness yes but they're asset stripping, not winning anything, performing worse than last year and seemingly content to just be a prem club.

Fun fact: It was Al Nassr we sold Musa to, and we ended up getting them a transfer ban when they failed to pony up the last 400k. We'll never get that 90 million bid for Ayew now.

We are. Always putting in lowball offers and then quibbling over a few €m here and there which delays thing enough for other clubs to come in for our targets. 

 

I think our guys think they're hard negotiators but we always end up missing out on first choice targets, then panicking at the end of windows scrabbling around to get someone in who's way down on our list.

I think a general state of discontent is now the norm across fans on social media.

 

For example I’ve come across a lot of disgruntled Brighton fans no less when checking out for news and views on Evan Ferguson.

 

Wolves fans do have strong justification to be raging mind.

Buying for £3m and selling for £90m is not asset stripping.  That's how a club like Brighton (or us, if we were smart) can invest, improve and compete in the top half.
