£6m is a good cheap punt if he can recreate last season's form.

Not so keen on him going on strike after the Burnley bid to make a move happen though.

Says a lot when Middlesbrough and Sheffield Utd are spending more than you.

It says a lot when they’re signing more players than us. Whittaker would’ve been great for us. Small enough fee, great potential in either league.

Decent player but hasn't he just gone on strike to secure move, he refused to play midweek according to the Plymouth manager.

Personally think we should follow Frank at Brentford and have a no dickheads rule.

I'd say we wouldn't be able to sign anybody if we applied that rule.

And then you realise we aren't signing anybody.

So now we know...

Its going back to the days of Pearson when personality would be as important as ability.

Did a scout report on him, not sure he has much more than being a bit part prem player in him, but I of an inbetweener, skill set suits being behind a striker but doesn’t have the physicality for it

There isnt a single fit player that id miss if we sold them. Thats a sad indictment of the absolute dogmess representing us

El Khannouss I'd be sad to see go even though I'm not yet hugely attached to him as he's like Draper was to us in 1994/95. The only bright spark and it's hard to be overly enamoured even though you can appreciate the quality.

Mads as well. Great keeper and we'd be on about 5 points if it wasn't for him this season.

Someone mentioned Kone to sign and loan back to Wycombe but can't find the post/thread

Nothing like showing a lack of ambition from Luton. A Premier League team in the last 12 months and now going for League One managers and players to improve themselves.

Kone is extremely highly rated. There are occasionally players from League One who are PL level within 6-18 months.
