Stuart Bingham (49yrs) v Alfie Burden (48yrs) in the Shoot-out final for a £50k prize.

Burden wasn't even in the draw for this tournament and was a late call up on the opening morning, to play after someone dropped out.

It's Burden's birthday tomorrow so would be a fantastic present to take home.

And Burden takes it!!

Technically an amateur as he's not on the tour any more. And he was the 20th reserve for the tournament. Came in last minute when another reserve dropped out. His first ever ranking tournament too! Brilliant stuff.

It’s good to see the players more relaxed and have a bit of a laugh with the crowd but how the fvck it remains a ranking event baffles me

Yes, unbelievable really considering the Champions of Champions tournament isn't a ranking event.

I've seen Mark a couple of times in Broughton Astley centre as he lives nearby, he certainly isn't one for the limelight. Shook his hand once, you could tell he didn't want the attention so I didn't try to engage him in conversation. Fair play to him.

Bit of fun but the prize money and fact you qualify for champion of champions is madness.

The fact Selby, Trump, osullivan, Williams, Wilson, Higgins, Robertson and maybe others aren't there tells a story.

Anyone watching the World Seniors on Channel 5 (final currently on now) .

The corner pockets are a joke. Playing like an American pool table they're that generous down the cushions. My local club match table is much tighter than these.

Does Rob Walker introduce the players at your local club? He is everywhere.

Ha. No but he was here interviewing  Dave for WST in 2022 when he first bought the club to help promote the place.

Ronnie has pulled out of the Masters then

Was looking forward to him v Robertson but with the form he’s been in and Ronnie hardly playing it could have been a bit more one sided than expected.

At least it rids us of the pathetic Ronnie fan boys that only come out for this tournament just so they can be heard shouting “Do him Ronnie” “**** him up Ron” during play

My eyes aren’t what they used to be but something looks off with the table and camera angle?

Yep they need someone to fold a coaster and put it under one of the legs.

Murphy out and Selby 3-0 down on the first night of the Masters.

Weird tournament for Selby, had those few ding dong years against Ronnie and felt like he’d win it time and time again, but been largely awful in it for the last 10+ years

Real shame for Selby, thought he had a good chance here but that's snooker, hard to continue form into different tournaments. He missed a couple of simple pots and Goudong didn't miss.
