So we continue with the relegation back four 22/23

Apart from Vestergaard didn’t play any minutes in 22/23

Vestergaard didn't play a league game that season, he's shite but seems harsh to lump him in with "the relegation back four"

Completely forgot!

he's woefully out of form, missing chances he usually wouldn't. He's 38 and playing three games in a week, rotate him

Let's agree. Do you have any viable alternative then? Daka can't start games as a lone striker. Not in PL, maybe in Greece, Turkey, Austria or Kazakhstan.

Which just shows the club should’ve got a bloody move on and had players in so it means we could have new players in a match day squad before 26th January at the earliest

It was obvious this was going to happen, loads of us called it.

The excuses will be Ruud needs time to assess the squad, we need to sell before we buy, you can’t force other clubs into selling etc. etc.

The club is just poorly run and their mistakes continue to hinder us for years, whilst they continue making more mistakes.

When you are fighting down the bottom, its about the team and its dynamic/play/tactic, not individual players imho

Except when it's individual mistakes that are the reasons for why we lose, rather than at least draw.

Just looking at this team sheet shows how poor our squad actually is.

The only changes you could make is a striker out of form in Vardy(tired but better) for another out of form striker in Daka (fresher but worse). Or Ayew for Facundo, which means that we would have no danger on the bench for when legs get tired.

I think we lose the midfield battle today, and we will have to hope for counter attacking.

Vardy cannot and should not be playing 3 games in a week, not when he’ll play the full 90 or a large majority of the game.

When he pulls a hamstring, what are we gonna do then? Daka will be the lone striker for 10 PL games.

Blah blah blah.

Didn't realise I had to provide statistical evidence for every opinion. And I did say 'it seems like' rather than claiming it was fact.

So you might be wrong and might just be massively overreacting.

And as we see, that issue with regards to JJ is being mitigated.

People seem to be forgetting the happy memories of Castagne

Watching VAR draw lines showing his shoulder play an attacker onside 6 times a season 😍

Castagne, playing attackers onside, versus Vardy, continually straying offside.

I think we may have found an infinite power source, or a universe-ending paradox.

I know transfers aren't as straight forward as we would like, but its a hell of a thing to have palace and Fulham at home mid to late January, and have not managed to find 1 or 2 players to give the squad a much needed boost. Very frustrating.

"have you got any viable alternatives, we can't play the viable alternative"

I get it's fashionable to hate Daka for no actual reason beyond "muh eye test" but he's a reasonable enough striker and is a viable alternative to Vardy, particularly on current form

This.  Our squad atm. is just not good enough for the EPL.  We probably only have a few players that are good enough for the PL, and two (Mads/Fatawu) are out, so, it's no surprise we're pretty much down and out right now.  The fact is, is that the recruitment for this season wasn't great, but having to get rid of Madders/KDH and Barnes in one go really did us in...

We will win today because these lot took a hell of a beating from Keir Starmer so there’s no chance vardy doesn’t smash his weapon right across the face of ye man in net.

3-0 the ****ing foxes

Ayew in for Buo is shit. Wouldn't want him playing at all but at least change Vardy for him given how badly out of form Vards is

Sure, Ayew in for "The Idea Of Buonanotte" would be shit. Ayew in for the falling over after running down a blind alley yet again ooh but he'll do something amazing soon I reckon like he did six games ago player Brighton were happy to loan us, one who is turning out to be exactly what Brighton fans said he would be, should by now just elicit a 'meh' response.

As for replacing a badly out of form (finishing wise, but not in terms of actually getting into positions to finish) Vardy with one of our in form, dead-eyed dick options...which one should RVN turn to?
