His argument is essentially that because he and the Supporters Club (anyone actually know anyone in this club?) meet with club regularly (do they?) to express concerns then no one else has a right to voice their opinion. Keep quiet, stop moaning and let Cliff deal with, it’s worked a charm up until now.

"We have meetings with the club and we tell them our views. They ignore them, give us a sandwich, pat us on the head and then see us out. That's how it works."

Being discussed on Talksport at the moment - good coverage

Do they actually understand the reasoning? Simon Jordan hates us as it is with us escaping points deduction

He probably hates anything like this too given it happened to him at Palace.

They have done a good job covering the football elements (failure to manage wage bill, lack of transfers, lurching playing styles).

Not enough about the lack off communcation, engagement or accountability

Ginnetta? Haven't heard that name since like 2014.

Bizarre that he's still regarded by some – including members of the media – as a mouthpiece for the supporters.

Cliff Ginnetta is president of the Cliff Ginnetta club, membership of one.

I think if we staged a mass walkout on 85 mins quite a few would commit to it - they have been doing for years

A sign of the apathy and how detached Leicester City fans are following years of King Power's desire to disassociate the supporters with the club.

King Power could do more to get fans loving the club but they don't care. They've already got your money.

In other words they covered the issues that are easily measurable/observable from outside but not the harder stuff.

Did they have any interviews, quotes or comments from fans that they could push for a response from the club about?

It's quite funny listening to Talksport do the usual. Have a discussion based on an hour or so "pre production" where the producers have put together some bullet points from our fans (probably off here) and then hopelessly discuss it.

Yet again it's the entitlement stuff. There was at least a bit of acknowledgement that the club is now run terribly, but it's still a general consensus that we have had our time in the spotlight and it's time for us to move along.

We aren't going to win any fans outside the club for the protest, but I'm glad these clowns are finally being shown for what they are and there's no longer this lovely narrative surrounding Top in national media.

Fantastic stuff.

This is exactly what we want. The publicity aspect will get to the club.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post the full text - but the article myself & a few contributors have worked on with Rob Tanner has been published in The Athletic this morning.

It is good write-up. Link below.

https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6133872/2025/02/14/leicester-city-project-reset-protests/

Agreed, it’s a well written piece as is most of Rob Tanner’s stuff to be fair.  There is a balance between people 100% behind the protest, others who agree with the concerns but don’t seem sure about the approach and those who don’t think there is a problem.

It’s good to see Lencioni’s 5 dysfunctions of a team being used in context.  This is a well established piece of management theory with a large body of evidence supporting it so lends more credibility to the argument.

I'm so glad you've picked up on the 5 Dysfunctions framework, mate! I think a lot of people just think it's weird framing/terminology from me... Ha!

It's very good for picking apart why teams fail.

Still looking for volunteers to speak to Jason Bourne tomorrow at 11:15am...

No names, no faces - just your opinion being shared.

Get involved! There's a few of us doing it.

need to be confirmed ahead of time? I might be there that early, really depends on traffic. Happy to do it if I am, but if it needs to be confirmed who's doing it before hand then I can't guarantee

Good that you've got Bourne doing the coverage. He'll be a sympathetic ear at the very least.

I think he's struggled to hide his own frustrations at the state of the club recently.
