Maddison to get the biggest applause from the city end of any player on the pitch

Couldn't believe my ears at home. Bloke got more of a reaction than any of our players.

I get it - do it once - fine, but it was every single fvcking time he went near the ball.

We are getting absolutely spanked here, it will be 4-0 or something, goals to Spurs in the first few minutes and they will run riot. Maddison sure to score, probably Son will have a good game to.

We have nothing to offer, absolutely nothing, we cant defend and Vardy is absolutely spent, were done here.

Agree this sort of outcome is likely. I have a forlorn hope we repeat our Feb 1975 visit to Spurs. Both clubs were on a bad run but we managed a 3-0 win courtesy of goals from Stringfellow, Worthington and Sammels.

Similar to what Iain Hume got all those years ago.

Mind you, people actively clapped Castagne on Saturday despite the fact he helped us get relegated then said he didn't want to play in the Championship.

Not surprising considering our match-going fans seem to want to celebrate failure.

We’re currently on 7 losses in a row and these are our next 11 games:

Spurs A

Everton A

Arsenal H

Brentford H

West Ham A

Chelsea A

Man Utd H

Man City A

Newcastle H

Brighton A

Liverpool H

I joke but what’s the record for the most losses in a row..?

I can understand players who have done something and not left in a complete shit show. But personally when a player leaves they can go fook themselves as far as im concerned.

I think the difference is we had a capable team then, I just don't think this lot have it in them, quality or mentality wise.

A lot of teams could at least fight and shithouse a win but we havent had that quality for a long time now. We are so pathetic its untrue. No goalscoring threat from centre backs, none from the midfield, no creativity, slow ponderous attacks.

Yeh not a fan of this at all. I like Maddison and he was a good player for us but he was also part of the relegation squad and is no way any kind of legend at this club. If Kasper, Kante etc played against us then it's a different story

That was over two seasons

yes, the longest consecutive number of defeats, we can probably beat that in one season now I think. Id be surprised if we win another game and 0-0 seems difficult with our defence.

Yes unfortunately this seems correct. We don't seem combative enough let alone creative enough

I now agree with the calls for 3-5-2. Pack the pitch, give Vardy some support, our wingers effectively work as AMCs anyway. Make it really tiresome for Spurs, protect the defence who in a three might find safety in numbers. The full backs get a bit more freedom.

Its got to be 3-5-2. The threee centre backs are not capable of working together and Vardy will need a wheelchair if we keep playing him alone. We are also losing the battle in midfield every single week.

My only concern with it is getting the best out of Bilal and Facundo (both need to be starting).

We're fvcked.

Id rather a complete implosion and just hope it brings enough animosity that changes are forced.

No more papering over cracks.

Let's smash that record,  we ain't winning again this season. In fact, reckon Southampton will do us as well.

Brentford H is the game I think we could get something. Most of their good results come at home.

Even though Tottenham are a mess and Everton are poor, I can't see us getting anything in either game.

This is one of the reasons we are going down.

When you playing shit, you either lose your temper or you over try. Now the latter I could aim at Buonanotte and El Khannous but other than that no one.

They aren’t a team. They don’t have leaders. They don’t want to work.

We haven’t had a player completely lose it and just do a filth tackle which says a lot. Evans and Soyuncu spring to mind here

Two shitty teams, just one is a lot shittier than the other. Both sides have fallen a long way in 9 years. Just one a lot further than the other.

Don’t bother looking at the history books we will beat it with ease and I’m not joking.
