Strongly disagree with this.

We have about half a team capable of achieving promotion: Bilal, Fatawu, Mavididi, Winks, Jakub...maybe Faes, Vestergaard and Monga.

Our midfield is lightweight and has zero creativity. We don't have a striker who can score 15 goals a season. We have one excellent full back but he's regularly injured. The rest aren't very good.

The rest are a high enough quality to carry the team, there is far far weaker squads in the league going for promotion other than us!

Seems to be looking like we’re more likely to go for loans. Clearly we aren’t wanting to spend actual money this summer (perhaps with it looking likely we’ll have to spend big next season with all the contracts running out)

who are some out of favour premier league players who would add to us on loan with options to buy?

What is he like? I’ve not really paid much attention to him?

Bit of an all rounder. High energy, can tackle and create. Quite tall too so the sort of midfielder that we would benefit from.

Not sure if West Ham would let us have Freddie Potts on loan for the season but he'd be a good central midfielder for what we need.

And then team Fatawu back up with Chermiti on loan from Everton. Both were at Sporting together. He's in theory the type of striker we need, 6ft 3 and quick.

Been doing some barrel scraping given our apparent situation.

A real PUNT in the absolute best sense of the word could be Josh Dasilva. Has really suffered with injuries but a 6 month/1 year contract to see if he's still got something might not be the worst shout.

If he does still have something he'd bring some real energy into the midfield.

We’ll need more than that I reckon!

If they don’t and move leave -  I can honestly see a bottom half finish

A pacey striker desperately and a CM with a bit of physicality. Saw West Brom are trying to loan Toby Collyer.. surely we should be trying to get him?

Loans are the way forward in our financial predicament

So desperate for midfield options and a striker.

We can't go a full season with Hamza, Soumare, Skipp and Winks as the 4 central midfielders and Daka and Ayew as the strikers.

Thierry Small. Had Fatawu in his pocket today!

That's not going to be enough tbf.  Luke Thomas has had the better of Salah a couple of times...
