Here, Kim Leadbetter admits that people will be able to choose to be killed simply because they fear they are a financial burden. The Bill Committee has also refused amendments to exclude people with impaired judgement, the depressed and suicidal, prisoners and homeless people and those 'unduly influenced' by others. This is a absolutely vile piece of legislation and it will be a very dark day for this country if it is passed. https://x.com/danny__kruger/status/1889746288767361451 James Cleverley has put forward some sensible amendments to this that still removes a lot of these issues while supporting the bill.

I think Prison is a bit extreme Many of those I mentioned had little to no relevant experience before becoming chancellor and none of them faced this level of scrutiny. One was involved in a deal that bankrupted RBS which Labour had to bail out during a global financial crisis; his wife was later found to be avoiding tax for years; his government also negotiated government deals favourable to her father's businesses; not to mention billions spent on dodgy PPE, VIP lanes, track and trace; the writing off of billions in COVID fraud. Another avoided tax then negotiated a deal with the HMRC while he was chancellor. Another crashed the economy in one afternoon. It's not being tetchy for wanting a basic level of accountability. Some of these people, as well as Johnson, should absolutely be in prison. 3

Government want people to eat healthy, but a small packet of almonds is about £4 in tesco

Wouldn't it be nice if all the death worshippers bound and determined on the supremacy of their own different ideologies simply decided to fight among themselves and left all the people with a hint of empathy alone to actually secure a future for our species civilisation? 2

This is why I said about Reform being the biggest party at the next election in another thread. Every time something like this happens, a party whose sole focus is stopping migration and starting deportations gains thousands of voters.

Yep, does nothing but turn more central voters to the right. Going to more and more of these type attacks because it's so easy to do.

Daggers Posted 13 February 2025 Posted 13 February 2025 ...And yet none of those crying about Reeves' CV gave a flying fvck when Leadsom's was revealed to be a work of complete fiction. Everyone exaggerates on a CV and job app. You're a liar if you say you don't. 2
