You have to have a bit of perspective when you see how many players werent available for Spurs today. 9 top players and c25 goals from this season alone.

Yeah and a fully fit Spurs side would’ve been a very different experience away from home. The thing about this season is we just need to grab whatever we can. The reality is if we do actually stay up, there are a number of players we should be looking to move on/move to squad players. Which is fairly normal.

Honestly, out of 20 teams, I think there at 16/17 who we cannot go toe to toe with and win. So we are dependant on injuries, shithousing, dodgy 1-0s. What I can take from that is that: a) they went a goal down and reacted - after 7 defeats that is tough; b) after going 2-1 up, they didn’t just hold on, they control the speed of the game. Those are huge points for teams in our position.

Here’s to 6 more of these sort of wins!

Spurs have always been quite kind to us when we’ve been shit in this league. Well for as far as I can remember.

94/95 - 3-1 win at Filbert Street, Roberts and Joachim masterclass.

2001 - they came to the last game at Filbert Street and we won 2-1.

2003 - a mad 4-4 at White Hart Lane and we were atrocious all season.

22/24 - 4-1 at the KP.

They really are the club we should be singing “can we play you every week” to.

not to split hairs but Bissouma was on the bench.

They have a lot of injuries, but so do other teams Bournemouth have 12 fit first teamers and just smashed one of the form teams in the league.

We were missing Kante, Marhez, Huth, Morgan and Drinkwater. It's a right bugger sometimes isn't it!

Maddison was sore. I remember Steve Claridge writing about the same players crying off as soon as they had the most minor knock when others wanted to play

I don't think Maddison cried off. I think Ange cried him off.

I’ve missed that feeling of waking up the day after a win. Really hoping this is the catalyst that gets us going.

Jumping around. Randomly breaking into a silent but boisterous YES! with clenched fists. Smiling like an idiot.

The second goal came from what we should be doing a lot more often.  VK and Reid pressed forcing them back, Soumare nipped in and then Reid got the ball forward quickly.  No standing off, slowing down and sending it backwards.

If nothing else we enjoy the feeling of sunshine on our backs for a few days as relief from this winter of discontent

The 2-1 final game at Filbo was 2002. But your point still stands because the previous season (00/01) we went on that atrocious run of 9 wins from 10. And of course that one win was against...

Yes!! 4-2 wasn’t it ? Just have this image of Emile Heskey absolutely bossing Sol Campbell throughout the 90s.
